We stayed here for the weekend for the Loch Ness Marathon. |The hotel is a basic Travelodge, but was great. Clean, quiet room. Everything you needed. Great location. …

We enjoyed our stay. The room was as expected. Nice, tidy, but not luxurious. The bed was soft but supportive. They had an extra set of pillows in the room that we definitely took advantage of..The breakfast was good as well. A nice variety of hot items and cold. I do wish they had plain yogurt rather than flavored, and what's with plant-based "yogurt"?.Best thing: excellent location..Worst thing: the parking is not the lot directly behind that appears to be attached to the hotel. It is instead the structure behind the lot, where you must park in the roof and play £8 each night. That's more notable given that it rained every time we walked to/from the car park..Overall, a good value for money.

Very convenient location, close to the bus and train station, both were within walking distance Check in was easy, and the room was comfortable and clean. Friendly staff. I would definitely stay here again. Check out is 12 noon, which is also convenient.

It was a pleasant stay. The room was spacious and very clean. The staff were good. Service was good. Breakfast was scrumptious. Stayed for two nights with my parents. Located just 3 minutes from Inverness station. A nice, budget hotel in Scotland. Also, WiFi worked great.

Minutes on foot from train station while stagecoach station right around the corner. Can’t beat the location. Smooth checkin. Not sure about other rooms but ours at the corridor end is very spacious and super quiet. Desk long enough for the two of us to sit together side by side - a rare find in the hotel category these days.

The location is great less than 5 minutes from the bus station, multi storey car park and train station. You are on the main street so shops, places to eat and the eastgate shopping centre all within 5 minute walking distance. Check in was quick and easy. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was clean and basic. There was tea, coffee, sugar and a kettle in the room if you needed more they were on a table at reception just help yourself. Also a television and a fan you plug in and 2 extra pillows for the bed if needed. The bed was comfy and the shower was awesome, good temperature and powerful. As you can see by my photo we were right on the street, which we were worried about the noise. But the windows are very good when they are shut no noise when they are open it is very noisy. I didn't eat here so can't comment on the food, there is a cafe just next door called The Red Pepper we had breakfast in there it was lovely. Would definitely stay in this hotel again.

Stayed here because of the location and short walking distance to the bus and train station. The rooms were decent except for the cob webbing across the ceiling and multiple spiders. Thankfully only was staying one night for a loch ness tour. They charge you for wifi. I travel all over and have never had to pay for wifi. It was only a few pounds but for the price of the room this was ridiculous. Everyone in my party was angry about this, some even refused to pay. It's 2024, nobody should have to pay for wifi. The breakfast photo advertised had pancakes. Paid for breakfast and went over to buffet(should have looked first) there wasn't any pancakes so I asked and was told there were none. Being vegetarian and a non egg eater, all I could eat was granola and fruit for an expensive breakfast. I was pretty mad.I wouldn't stay here again if I ever visited.

Excellent stay at the City-Centre Travelodge in Inverness. Convenient location close to train and bus station, with access to the town centre, river walks, restaurants and shops. Immaculately clean and tidy, with a friendly and attentive staff. Very good breakfast selection. A first-class overnight stay.

It was a relatively late switch in arrangements to stay at Travelodge Inverness City Centre. The reasoning was simple. It provides almost instant access to the train station, the bus station and nearby tour starting points, bypassing the need for local taxis.I arrived on a Tuesday and, due to my plans for the stay, the only meals I had there were Thursday's dinner and Friday's breakfast. Both were most acceptable. The breakfast had a special significance as it was the day I was due to take a train journey home lasting about nine and a half hours with five connections. It hit the spot.Throughout my stay the staff were friendly and helpful.A couple 💑 of points I particularly like about the hotel1) there was NO slot just inside the room in which to put the door key to operate the lights. This eliminates the risk of getting locked out of your room.2) the shower had a shower curtain at the side rather than one of those hard plastic screens.Besides these, my room allowed sight of the Kessock Bridge. 😊🥰😊🥰This hotel HAS to be my first choice for any future stay in Inverness. As you can see, I was in need of some comfort food at the end of a very mixed day.

For what you pay for this room, I would say it is a good value. This is the basic room -- which is what we needed for just one night. You never stay in the room much anyway - so why pay high $$ for something you see only right before going to bed. The bed was large and very comfortable. The shower was excellent. Good value!
