Our group of 20 arrived at this hotel and were welcomed very warmly. That service and attention to detail continued throughout the 2 nights we stayed here - in fact, of all the hotels we stayed in on our 3 week tour, this one had the most …

Our Patio room was spacious and clean, if a little dated. Easy access to garden so great as we had our dog with us, and also close to swimming pool etc.Reception staff friendly and approachable, the same cannot be said for the restaurant in the evening. Very disappointing menu and service for the cost.Breakfast however was lovely with really nice staff.

The afternoon tea was absolutely delicious, the service was prompt and friendly. The corner table we had was rather small so the surface was very overpopulated once the cake stand was there. We found the seating was comfortable but a bit low for us elderly folk. All in all a very pleasant afternoon and good value for money.

Stayed here for a night on our way between places and it was completely adequate. Parking was very easy and the location is wonderful for being walking distance to town. The room was clean but very hot in September (windows would only open a bit, though there was a standing fan in the room). The interior was dated and generic. The front desk was very friendly, however my reservation under the wrong name so there was some confusion at check-in. The breakfast staff was kind but the food offered was quite low quality (we ended up not eating any of it and walking into town where we had a very delicious meal instead).I'd say this was better than a basic hotel and a great option for a quick stop in Inverness, but probably shouldn't call itself "luxury."

Fantastic experience from the moment I arrived. Room was superb and big in size. Dinner was a treat, service was class and the 2 staff members who served me the evening is a credit to the hotel. Breakfast was served buffet style and service was good. |Would highly recommend

We stayed at Kingsmill Hotel Oct 20 - 24. The hotel itself is lovely. Lots of comfortable cozy areas to sit and chat. The rooms were comfortable and spotless. However their staff is their strength.  …

Stayed in room 203. Bed was comfortable but room was very dated and furniture a bit worn looking. Poor lighting as room quite dark overalll and no light by the dressing table. Bathroom however was nice, modern and fresh looking. Would stay again but wouldnt book a Classic room as it was disappointing for the price paid.

Great service from the moment we walked in to store our luggage. Before our return, they had it delivered to our room. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, en suite is well equipped with a bath tub and walk-in shower. The leisure club is a nice change from other hotels and has a hottub, sauna, pool, steam room and gym.

Good location. Rooms are a little worn. Restaurant staff were not very friendly from the get go. We had dinner and tea in the main hotel. Breakfast was good in the other building.

Lovely hotel.Stayed 3 times over 4 or 5 years.Staff are very well trained and have to be fairly diplomatic dealing with a lot of foreign tourists.Garden rooms are nice and peaceful although decor just needs touched up now.Food is excellent, evening meal was fantastic, breakfast is also very good and service excellent.Bar prices are at the top end but forgiveable. The kingsmill is a very pleasant two or three nights stay.
