A beautiful little Motel that was great for exploring the area around Ullapool before a trip over to the Outer Hebrides. The rooms were incredibly spacious, seemed pretty modern and were well equipped. The view out of the window is gorgeous! The owners were super friendly (Despite what some other reviews have said!) and the little pub had some tasty ale on cask. Would highly recommend!

These self contained rooms are located north of Ullapool along side a lovely loch. The pub attached serves lovely meals and can do breakfast. |The ambience is wonderful, the owners lovely and this is a perfect base for exploring. |Although we only stayed one night it was well worth it.

Staying at Altnacealgach Motel was the highlight of our honeymoon. Not only was it a perfect location to tour the areas countless waterfalls and beautiful ruins, but owners could not have be more welcoming or attentive. We loved spending our evenings there drinking and laughing in the pub with Craig, Sue, and the other guests. When we left, it felt like we were saying goodbye to old friends and we definitely hope that one day our paths will cross again!!!!

Stayed in August (sorry for the late review!) and had a wonderful time! The location is so calming, right on a beautiful loch. The room was large, clean and well maintained with easy parking around the back. The kitchenette was definitely an added bonus even though we ended up having dinner at the pub. Dinner was amazing (and the profiterole dessert was to die-for!). Had a great chat with the owners, they had some fun stories about the area and tips for our ongoing trip which was great! Just wish we had been able to stay longer!

We pulled in here after a long day of driving and were immediately made to feel welcome. The room was clean, well equipped, and had an amazing view overlooking the loch outside.||We missed dinner as we arrived a bit late, but the breakfast was perfect to set us up for another day of driving.
