The hotel is close to amenities & the city centre. Our room was clean & spacious, but did have some bad points, such as only having 1 dining chair at the table, when the room was for up to 3 people. Our room was on the first floor, there's no lift so this isn't a good choice if you need a wheelchair. The food was great & the price is similar to some other well-known restaurants. Beds are very comfortable, but the views aren't great. Even with curtains open, the room was still dark, so the lighting was on when we were in the room. Did smell dampness in a small part of the corridor. The overall price for 3 nights was hard to beat.

Although a bit of a walk from the rail station this hotel is set a little bit back from the main road nestled amongst big trees where owls can be heard at night! We had Premier Plus rooms set at the top floor of a little annex. …

Great friendly, helpful staff. Comfortable. Good deal for evening meal plus breakfast. Plus room facilities very practical & useful. Would have been happy just chilling in the room if we had an extra day.

We had one of the new design rooms and it was great to have a walk-in shower - I wish all the Inns had them. I don't find it easy to climb into a bath, but I had no problems with the walk-in shower.I didn't sleep very well because the pillows were too firm. There should be 2 of each, firm & soft, as standard. One thing I find frustrating is that the sheet and duvet cover don't fit very well. Fitted sheet and a popper-bottom duvet cover would be easier.I would like to say a big 'Thank-you' to Barry, he was very helpful and communicative and had a lovely sense of humour. I used to work in customer services and his was impeccable! Thanks for helping us with our breakfast, Barry!

There was no hot water when we arrived but we were assured a plumber would be called and the water would be hot in the morning. This was not the case and we had to have cold showers. We didn't get an explanation or an apology. …

We were traveling from Edinburgh to Inverness and needed last minute booking a room. We approached a staff named Emma, she was absolutely fantastic. Even though rooms were not available, the lovely lady didn’t turn us away straight away. She had an amazing personality, patience and was understanding. We had a good chat with the lady, she understood we were struggling to find places as we are new to the area and suggested some other options. The lady has best qualities of a perfect receptionist.

Stayed one night. Only five minutes walk from city centre. Rooms clean, beds comfortable. Curtains kept out the light which isn't often the case in hotels. And even tho it is on a main road it wasn't too noisy.
