We stopped off for one night whilst visiting the East Coast. A friendly welcome by Callum who informed us of local sites to see, and places to eat and drink, as the bar is closed on Sundays. …

We stayed here after finishing the Lands End to John O Groats cycle. We were welcomed by friendly staff. We had a lovely curry and the room was very comfortable. Perfect stay after a long tiresome cycle. Honestly couldn’t ask for a better stay.

Sad to be going back to the grind my 3rd visit this year affords a level off privacy bordering on exclusivity along with traditional music and £6 curry nights during my stays many thanx too Callum and his team x

A fantastic little room for the NC500 traveller. Clean and tidy room with a very comfortable bed.. Bring a multi plug socket if you need multiple devices charged overnight. …

We stayed here for two nights and it was ok. Our actual room was fine ,clean and doable for a short stay. Staircase to get to room from outside definitely needs improvement. Windows and net curtains need attention. I am easily pleased but it wouldn’t suit everyone. Staff member was lovely and helpful. Thanks

Callum is a great host with friendly approach. The room was comfortable and the accommodation is right in the centre of Wick at a reasonable price.I just cannot understand why the town looks so quiet, when it has all the necessary transport facilities with main train station is just at 10 mins walking distance of which I thought should bring more people for sightseeing. Wick is a great place to visit for walking, sightseeing & fishing.Just a minor suggestion: need a slightly bigger sink in the shower / bathroom.

The owner Callum was very welcoming and accommodating! I would 100% come here again. I came from London and had been travelling all day. The room was spotless, the bathroom was clean, the beds were comfortable. Everything about my stay was great. Anyone needing a place to stay in Wick, this is the place! Thank you so much

There aren't many reviews on Google as this is above Camps Bar (which has a lot more Google reviews)but you'll find loads more reviews for the accommodation on Expedia and AirBnB.Walked into town and needed a place to stay. Very impressed. Its good value. Can be booked direct if you go to Camps Bar or booked on Airbnb/Expedia. Callum opened up to let us in and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Some of them have shared bathrooms but clearly stated. We had previously gone to a cafe in town and quoted £90 for a room. Other places were £80-120. The ensuite bedroom is £50 and then they go down in price from there so don't expect the Ritz but compared to other pricing in town its great.Rooms on top floor. Get keys to come and go 24hrs without having to go through the Bar. The bar opens evening. No food but lots of places to eat around and takeaways too which you can eat in the bar if you ask.Room we had was Noss. Ensuite bathroom with decent hot shower. Kettle and tea/coffee, 2 bottles of water nice touch. Comfy king bed. Small TV too. Nice little touches like towels wrapped in a ribbon. Not glamorous but comfy. Does what it says on the tin!Callum and Octavia were both lovely. Callum chatted and let us in to see the room and gave us food recommendations. Octavia chatted to us the next day as we only booked 1 night but decided to stay another and both were very accommodating. So definitely a 5 star for us given the experience and location, comfiness and price.
