A really lovely restaurant/bar. We visited for a drink after a day's walking and ended up staying for food and there was live music all night too. A good range of local craft beer and a large menu which included a range of vegetarian options and a vegan main. Food was very good, generous portions and reasonable price. Staff were friendly, Cameron who was new to the place was really helpful and welcoming. We plan a return visit for my husband's birthday.

We stayed here for one night on our way north and as soon as we walked in we were met with a big smile and a warm welcome which extended to all other members of staff during our brief stay. …

Group lunch for work, large number seated & severed at the same time, saff were excellent and given the size of the group, we didn't have much of a wait for food so fair play to the kitchen! Food was stunning, chicken bao buns were outstanding! Steak pie was 1 of the best I have had for a long time, would make the journey just for that alone. The whole menu sounded delicious tbf. Parking can be difficult at busy times but don't let that be a negative for what was a beautiful lunch, will certainly be back!

An Absolute must!Just had a brilliant time at the Allangrange. Food was fantastic, the decor and ambiance is everything you could want, and the service was some of the best I’ve experienced in the 5 years I’ve lived in Scotland. Tom and the other staff were so wonderfully welcoming and attentive. We felt incredibly taken care of. I couldn’t have asked for a better time! Highly recommend!

Great food, excellent staff. Atmosphere was a little bit of a let down. There was a function being set up in the adjacent room. Lots of shouting and lots of foot traffic past our table. This was the only let down on an otherwise excellent venue. Would definitely go back.

Looking forward to having a meal here, after a great experience 2 years ago. Unfortunately not the same this time. My meal came to the table first, as I was sitting there waiting for my partners meal to arrive she told me to start eating. I then cut half of my burger to give to her as we had been waiting around 5 minutes by this point. after another few minutes as I was about to go and ask where her dinner was, the waiter turned up with her meal and mine? So he said, I see you have your meal and plonked her meal down on the table!! No apology or anything. As I had nearly finished my meal, once my partner had finished we sat there for 20 mins, with our empty plates in front of us and empty drinks glasses. At this point we got up and went and paid what we owed. I have to say that the service was among the worst I have ever experienced, your waiting staff need some guidance as to how to serve customers.

Service was good, bar staff had a very good knowledge of local ales, it was nice inside. However, the Cullen skink I ordered was very bland, the "puff" pastry on top was very dry and basically as flat as a poppadom.

Took a bus from Inverness and had a lovely dinner on a Saturday evening. We were 20mins early so we had a drink in the bar before sitting at our table. The decor is very nice, the staff are very friendly and the food was very good. We were also treated to live music throughout our meal !
