First, the staff: Receptionist Corinne was welcoming and professional, asking questions about an issue with the room and resolving it quickly, making dinner reservations which could only be phoned in, and greeting us whenever we walked …

Stayed here as part of a coach tour holiday. Found the hotel to be warm and welcoming with friendly, efficient staff who couldn’t have been more helpful and who, although busy, were always happy to chat a little with you. …

Stunning location for seaview and the gorgeous sunset. Accomodation was very good, with some fantastic being served. Staff were very friendly and polite. An ideal place for a base for the N C 500 also very quiet if you are looking to wind down after a hectic day

A solid hotel with clean but slightly dated rooms and nice atmosphere. The staff were excellent, including reception, but particularly the bar and restaurant staff. It was a no frills experience but very friendly and comfortable. Location is amazing.

We had a gathering last month for my father post church service. We were in one of the beautiful front ground floor function rooms. The standard of decor was excellent and comfortable. All the staff we spoke to arrange the event were absolutely superb efficient and friendly 😀On the day the service from the waiting staff member was fantastic with a buffet of beautifully made sandwiches that exceeded expectations. The comments from 40 people attending were all extremely complimentary of the venue, staff and food .Definitely a grand place to consider holding a function !Keep up the good work Gairloch Hotel !

On arrival, the receptionist gave our daughter and us each the wrong keys, so we were disappointed at her very small twin room, at the back of the building, compared to our double room, at the front, considering she had had to pay the single room supplement. However, the location of the hotel is superb and the view over the sea when the sun set was amazing. The TV in our room couldn't receive regular reception, but the apps worked, so we could see some programmes. The restaurant staff went above and beyond to accommodate my food allergy, to the point where they made me a totally different meal from everyone else on our second evening. The food was very good and I think most people on our coach trip enjoyed it. We were on a Caledonian tour of the NC500 and stayed 2 nights on 2nd/3rd October.

The location is beautiful... set back from the coast on the NC500 and perfect to see the most awesome sunsets .. and a small yet beautiful beach is just a walk down a small yet long set of stairs ...The view from the hotel is outstanding 👌 .. we was lucky enough to see the aurora when we stayedThe staff do their best to help you with almost anything... and I've are super friendly ☺️The rooms vary but have everything you'll need for your stay .. TV, hairdryer and iron ... that sorta thingThe building is older but has been brought up to date on the inside ... and yes there is a lift to all floorsAnd if you need fuel there is a 24/7 fuel station right next door ..
