Typical caravan club site. But not in a bad way. Stayed for1 night. Wardens were very friendly and helpful to the point of advising us that the noise from Gatwick Airport stops at 11pm and resumes at 6am so overnight it as quiet as can be. Be aware that you will hear and see jets taking off constantly at this site outside of these times. The site is meticulously clean and tidy, all hardstanding gravel pitches looked level - we didn't need to level our outfit at all. Great tv reception and 4g/5g worked well with a reposition of my mobile phone. Toilets and showers were all spotless and in good order. Water and waste points all easy to use and clean as a whistle. A great site in a reasonable area. Just bear in mind it's not a quiet country retreat during daytime and evening but if you enjoy plane spotting you will be in paradise!!

The lady at check in was lovely. Showers/toilets clean. Went out for the day and left some steps on my pitch. They were gone when I returned. That then made it feel very unsafe. Plus the noise of the planes from. 5.45am till 11pm the novelty wore off after 2 days. As a single woman I left didn't feel safe enough to stay the week I had planned for work.

I parked my caravan there many times, it feels like a second home. They have huge caravan storage facilities.Very close to Gatwick airport, you get used to the noise made by planes taking off and landing. in few hours you will not notice them anymore and suprisingly you sleep like a baby during the nights.

Found this to be a good site. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good clean facilities. Pitches spaced out and quite a small site, so peaceful from a people point of view. Plenty of noise from the aircraft, but as it's called Gatwick, not sure what else people would expect and didn't find it a problem at all. Would stay here again.

Decent and unique site if you are wanting to travel via Gatwick airport or want to plane spot. Yes it is noisy, but that comes with the convenience of the location. The pitches are fairly decent, but not exceptional. The staff were friendly and more helpful than at most club sites. Planes can be seen from the site or at the end of the runway near Purple Parking but the walk is along a dangerous road. You can also see them at the industrial estate and road just beyond that leads to the perimeter road, but perhaps keep that to a Sunday to avoid being in the way of the local businesses. You have to reach Gatwick and the train terminals via taxi or car. The bus is a fair walk along the main road with no path.

Big shout out to the staff here for being so helpful and accommodating when we arrived after hours on a Sunday night! We needed a place near Gatwick last minute as we had to collect our son from the airport in the morning due to cancelled trains and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect pitch! We were allocated a large level gravel pitch with no neighbours either side and a huge hedge behind. We enjoyed a bbq and watched the planes flying overhead which we found interesting and not intrusive especially as there are quiet times through sleeping hours. After a great night's sleep we enjoyed a hot shower in the clean wash block just steps away. As the site is only small all pitches have easy access to the facilities that are well laid out, clean and convenient and there were walks sign posted which we'd have explored if we had more time but we'll explore more when we re-visit which we definitely will as we were really impressed and the price was great too! Thanks again to the warden for your help; it's very much appreciated!

We were staying here with family for our Sons wedding. We thought it was cheaper than a hotel and better option with our 2 year old grand daughter giving her more freedom than a hotel room while we were back on site relaxing before and after the weddingWe thoroughly enjoyed our stay watching the planes was great, the noise of them never bothered us at all, we enjoyed tracking them on flight radarThe site is very well kept and the toliet and shower block were very clean. The showers were so powerful and had plenty of hot water. One thing I always think is a sign of a well kept toliet block apart from the toliets, shower, washbasins and floors being clean is if the toliet brushes are fairly new and clean, and they were. Also a nice chrome rack, not rusty at all in the shower for toiletriesThank you we would definitely stay again when visiting family in Crawley

It's lovely to watch the planes take off. Didn't worry me at night, slept through till 6, then the planes were off. Toilets/showers clean, but dated.
