We had a lovely stay a couple of weeks ago at the Chestnut Tree Cottage. Lis and her family were extremely welcoming and made us feel relaxed and at home. We only stayed for one night, but didn't want to leave and will look to stay at Chestnut Tree Cottage again.Ardingly has a lot of character and a few pubs within walking distance that serve food. We felt very safe in the area and loved the village. We didn't do any walking, but it would make a great launchpad for country walks. Many thanksSteve and Becca

We received a very warm welcome from the hosts. They even thought of an ice-cold bottle of water and treated us to chocolate brownies. The room is beautifully furnished and decorated with loving details. Everything was clean. There were enough terry towels in the bathroom and bathrobes could also have been used. Here too it shows that the lady of the house has an eye for beauty, the atmosphere is wonderful. The only small disadvantage is that you have to sit in the bathtub to shower (which is not possible due to the low height of the bathroom). We can only recommend this room and the hospitality of the hosts. It was a wonderful stay.
