I have just come back from a weekend break for my partner’s birthday, we’ve stayed at your hotel a few times in the past, and the food and service has always been good. There were a few problems this time however. …

Gorgeous old place with lovely comfortable rooms. The food is delicious from the extensive breakfast to the a la carte evening meal. A fabulous spa with lots of treatments on offer and a pool, jacuzzi and steam rooms. …

The staff are the friendliest and always have a welcoming smile. There is always someone on hand to assist with luggage etc. We thoroughly look forward each year (sometimes we visit twice a year) to our stay. …

A beautiful setting in the Sussex countryside. The spa bedrooms offer beautiful views. Loved the swimming pool. A great location for our work event. We were excellently looked after by Russell and his team. Planning to come back before too long!

Such a beautiful setting for a relaxing getaway! Ockenden Manor has perfectly manicured lawns which looked at their absolute best in this sunshine. The dining room has large doors that open onto these lawns and the view was spectacular, which I enjoyed both for my evening meal and for breakfast. The spa facilities as well as the massage were amazing, the food delicious and above all what stood out for me was the professionalism of the staff. I was made to feel very welcome and every member of staff seemed interested and attentive. I was impressed with the attention to detail too such as homemade biscuits in the room (very tasty). I will definitely be back and will keep my fingers crossed that I can enjoy its beauty again in the sunshine.

I was there on a spa day as a present from my children.||I cannot fault the spa, it was a lovely luxurious experience and the staff were so friendly and attentive.||Unfortunately it was let down by the lunch over in the hotel. …

Myself and my husband stayed for the weekend, and we were so impressed with the service and venue from start to finish. When we made a phonecall with questions about our booking, the lady who answered went above and beyond, and this level of service continued when we arrived at the hotel, and it was such a warm lovely welcome. The room we stayed in was cosy, clean, comfy, quirky and well presented, with no dust or dirt anywhere! Which considering the age of the building is very impressive! We had dinner and breakfast whilst we stayed, and both meals were delicious, with huge variety of local and home prepared food. The restaurant staff were attentive and polite, and so friendly who couldn't do enough for us. We felt incredibly welcomed and cared for the whole time.We can't wait to stay again soon, as it was such a lovely little holiday in a beautiful hotel with beautiful grounds.
