Plum Henley is the most beautiful cottage in every way - if you love interiors you won’t want to leave! For a weekend break from London it really doesn’t get better than this. We very much enjoyed our stay and look forward to going back!

My fiancé & I had a wonderful stay. The cottage had everything you could wish far and more! The underfloor heating was a welcome surprise! Every detail of the interior was perfect and so cosy. It’s in a great location too, we also did some lovely walks nearby and frequented the Duke of Cumberland Arms 2 seconds up the road. We will definitely be back! Thanks so much to the Plum cottage team ☺️

This is an amazing cottage. Although compact, it is incredibly spacious inside and as others have mentioned it has the best bed ever! It really is delightful, well equipped and extremely comfortable. The location is stunning with brilliant views across the gentle hills of the South Downs. The pub up the road is fab as is the rather brilliant Indian takeaway less than a mile away. There are plentiful walks straight from the doorstep. We had a lovely trip here and I would highly recommend it to others.

Had the most amazing stay at Plum Cottage! It was cosy and luxurious at the same time, the whole experience was flawless! We went on several walks directly from the cottage which were incredibly beautiful and completely different from each other, so if you were only there for a weekend you could very easily not get back in the car. We also drove to Fernhurst one day to go on the ‘temple of the winds’ walk (recommended by the host) which was truly stunning, and a personal highlight of the South Downs.

What a glorious weekend we’ve just had at Plum Cottage. We really can’t thank you enough! Every little detail has been considered and the interiors are really really incredible- unlike anywhere I’ve stayed before (and that includes top hotels etc).We both couldn’t bear to peel ourselves off the sofa and leave, the mark of a really phenomenal place to stay.

I cannot recommend Plum Cottage in Henley highly enough . My partner and I stayed for three nights over the new year and it was the most relaxing gorgeous cosy cottage to stay in . It is so beautifully designed and the standard of bedding , furnishing , design etc is extremely high . Lovely friendly local pub two minutes walk away and a lovely roaring fire to come home to . I have already recommended it to all my friends and will definitely be returning as soon as I can .

Staying at Plum Cottage is like staying in a five star hotel, but in your own secluded countryside getaway. We took multiple bubblebaths, ate our steaks outside in the garden and enjoyed all the luxury touches of the cottage. We went for a sunset walk and to paint on Black Down Hill, the famous viewpoint where Tennyson lived, not too far away. Will definitely be back to explore further south!

We had the most fabulous stay at Plum Cottages-Henley. With all the stressors of life these days, not to mention of living in London in general, we really needed a getaway to switch off, and Plum Cottage-Henley provided the perfect escape. Not only were the surroundings peaceful and the garden perfectly designed to allow us to enjoy the gorgeous weather, but the cottage itself had so much attention to detail that we didn’t have to worry about a thing. Usually I’m so worried that something will go wrong, be dirty, or just be uncomfortable, but with Plum Cottages (this is my second cottage with them. The first one was in Bray which was also incredible), I am able to just immediately let go. It was honestly exactly what we needed. We’re two for two with Plum Cottages! And Cara is always such a pleasure to communicate with and so thoughtful. We can’t wait to try the next one!

An absolutely perfect weekend escape - could not recommend this cottage highly enough and will be returning as soon as possible. Every detail has been thought about - and the interior is perfection. It's in a great location at the top of a valley, with a gorgeous woodland walk from the doorstep and the gastropub really is worth it. Would give more stars if I could.

Me and my girlfriend had wonderful anniversary weekend at Plum Cottage Henley. The cottage has a beautifully crafted interior and everything has been designed to a exquisite level of detail. We spent our time getting lost in the rolling hills, looking out for wildlife and quenching our thirst in the local pub. I couldn’t recommend a nicer place to spend a weekend… you won’t regret it.P.S the whole place smelt amazing too.
