I absolutely cannot recommend the Castle Cottage B&B.We stayed here for 4 nights for the Goodwood FoS (in the "Barn") and are more than disappointed.Everything is overgrown, nothing has been looked after for ages, every room was very dirty. Not even toilet paper (not to mention breakfast) was offered, and that for £185 a night.I have never seen such dirty and neglected accommodation. Windows look like they have been wiped last time several years ago.Absolutely horrible.

Hidden off the beaten track you will find a characteristic cottage and its grounds. Almost the land that time forgot as you walk around the many pathways and bridles surrounding the cottage. We stayed in the garden room which had vulux windows giving you a connected view of trees, sky and even squirrels as you wake in your emperor bed. Allison was a great host, providing a full English breakfast cooked to your liking within the comfort of a fascinating orangery. We will be returning to experience the two other accommodation options and exploring the rest of the south downs.

We had a wonderful stay in the beautiful rustic and very comfortable tree house at Castle Cottage BnB. It's such a great feeling being up high in the trees of the beautiful forest it's set in. We sat on the balcony for ages listening to the birds, immersing ourselves in nature and enjoying a couple of cold beers! Alison is a great host, kind and welcoming and cooked us a delicious breakfast which we ate in her fabulous orangery full off interesting foliage and furniture. We will certainly be recommending to friends and hopefully returning ourselves one day.

On our arrival we were greeted by Alison who was very friendly and we were shown up to the amazing tree house which we would be spending the next three nights in. I can honestly say we were amazed by how quirky this accommodation was. If your looking for a five star hotel with all the creature comforts then you would possibly not enjoy it here. The aromas on entering the tree house was earthy as you would expect with huge trees integrated in the design you do share this accommodation with cob webs but its all part of the charm ,it’s all to be expected your in a tree. Alison provides a brilliant full English breakfast in her glorious conservatory which blew us away her attention to detail will amaze you. Overall we had a brilliant stay and would definitely return to this wonderful haven. Thank you Alison .

Just returned from a wonderful nights stay at the barn. It was very romantic with a rustic feel. Lots of Windows providing natural light and songs from nature as you sit out on the balcony to complete the experience. Alison was the perfect host with her warm hospitality and delicious breakfast! Highly recommend this peaceful and tranquil gem in the countryside.
