Just got back from an awesome long weekend in Worthing made so special in part because of our stay at the Railway Hotel. Situated right opposite Worthing Station this is a really great pub with a fab menu and a number of very comfortable hotel rooms. The gorgeous old building has been lovingly restored to its former glory with the train/station theme running throughout. Their downstairs rooms, bar area, loo and dining are all wheelchair accessible.A massive shout out to Kat the manager and her wonderful team who went out of their way to make our stay the best it could be. Service with a smile no matter how busy they were!If you're planning a weekend in Worthing you won't find a better place to lay your head. Their food is really good ( we had 13 for Sunday lunch) and caters to all tastes including Vegan and gluten free. We did not want to leave! Highly recommend.

What a great hotel. We stayed here for work reasons and it's so clean and looks very recently refurbished. The staff are all fantastic. Especially Aga who checked us in and then I saw on a number of occasions working really hard in the bar/restaurant. She even managed to find us a table on Saturday evening even though the place was packed and even provided us with table service! The food was great and a really good price if you are staying there. Sadly didn't get to try the breakfast but maybe next time! It's really hard to find any fault at this hotel! I requested a quiet room and a desk to work at and the management provided this for me! We hope to return again for work later this year.

We absolutely loved this place. We were in town for the Goodwood Revival and booked this hotel for a 3 night weekend. Firstly, the staff was incredible. Friendly, eager to help, and just really, really nice people. Next, the room was perfect. Recently renovated and plenty of room. A very nice bathroom and comfortable bed. Finally, the pub and restaurant were wonderful. Great beer, GREAT food (both breakfast and dinner), great atmosphere, and very reasonable prices. We look forward to returning in the future.

This hotel is right opposite Worthing Station. The rooms are well appointed and spotless. My room was over the bar, but once the pub closed, was perfectly quiet. We had breakfast included. Well cooked and plenty of it. The staff were all very friendly, polite, and couldn't do more for us. Would definitely stay again.

Our son went for a special needs club meal. We decided to hang around in case he needed support and ended up having a meal.Service was excellent, especially the young man with the Mohican haircut.Food all freshly cooked and not ‘standardised’ like many pubs. And a different selection to normal. Great long prawn linguine. Was tempted by the excellent waiter to have a desert and the homemade syrup sponge was one of the best, if not the best I’ve tasted. And half price on Mondays! We’ll be back.HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

We visited the Railway Hotel recently with a group of 40 from Worthing Mencap. The food & service was absolutely faultless. Compliments to the kitchen team to get all the food out in such a timely fashion & to the waiting/bar staff for being so kind & attentive to our group. We benefited from the Monday 50% offer but there was no compromise on quality or quantity of food. The feedback from our group members was extremely positive & we wlll definitely look to return again very soon!
