Lovely b&b on the main road with private parking behind.The buildings is classic & historic with lots of vintage & original features. There are plenty of mod cons gently integrated throughout without feeling out of place.Staff are kind and thoughtful, loads of knowledge about the town and local area.Amazing knowledge of gluten-free diet, I felt confident and safe at breakfast. The staff even popped put to grab some gf bread for toast. Honestly, I was just happy to have a safe meal. Definitely above and beyond customer service.The bed was comfy, and the room was very clean.There is a restaurant that had a lovely selection. We didn't eat there, but the menu looked good, and allergen options were clearly labelled.

Stayed one night in room 6 great room all very clean apart from just a quick moan about the over bed canopy very very dusty. Great bathroom, window seat over looking the main street but very quiet at night. Chocolate in the room plenty tea and coffee selectionGood bed linen., staff friendly good service, great breakfast easy car parking would definitely go back. Thanks for a great stay.

Just back home for an overnight stay at this hotel. We stayed in room 3 which was a small double (an attic room). Although small it had everything you needed, it was clean and cosy. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was excellent infact it was the best breakfast we have had away! We will definitely be staying again.
