Beautiful setting near Worthing. An amazing welcome from such lovely friendly people. Excellent afternoon tea, food was beautifully presented and unique choices offered that took afternoon tea to another level.their Menu for dinner was so inviting! we're going back for dinner watch this space!!

Booked afternoon tea for our anniversary. Friendly and professional service throughout our 4 hour visit from this family run restaurant. Brilliant selection of sweet and savoury items that were served with detailed explanations. The highlight was the personal touch from each family member to chat to us and make us feel relaxed. Thank you to the two Alex's and Ashlee for a perfect afternoon.

So first time visiting The Orchid House this afternoon taking my fab friend Kerry for a birthday afternoon tea! What a great experience ❤️ The place is stunning, food really good and our hosts couldn't do more for us! Thoroughly recommend for something very decadent and different in Worthing! We even came away with some incredible pineapple jam 🍷 Looking forward to returning for some of their upcoming events 😊

Ashley, Alex and the rest of the wonderful team at Orchid House provided a birthday lunch to remember for me and a party of friends and family. Since my first enquiry about booking a few months ago, communication with Orchid House has been an absolute delight. Ashley and Alex designed a menu which met my requirements perfectly. The delicious food was set off by wonderful service and a beautiful flower-filled dining room. This is a special place, run with a genuine spirit of generosity and hospitality. I recommend it very highly.

On Wednesday I took a friend to Orchid House for Afternoon Tea. The pace and stress of life fly away as you enter the doors to a welcoming world of calm. The surroundings are opulent and a feast for the eyes and that is before you partake in the indulgence of Afternoon Tea.The menu changes with the seasons. Autumnal savoury treats were part of the presentation.today. Each with a tantalising surprise taste to pleasure your taste buds. The scones just melt in your mouth no horrid cloying effect like other places I have ventured to.I could go on forever but you need to discover for yourself what awaits you behind the tall trees and hedges of an almost secret venue.I am taking my family for English Afternoon Tea on Saturday.I can’t wait for their reaction, especially a young lady from LA. Let the fun, laughter and memory making times begin. With thanks to the co- owners Alex and Ashee for opening such a treasure of a venue in Worthing.I have also booked for their Murder Mystery Party and dinner. I hope I escape alive! Let the fun begin….

The ambience created by the attention to detail to each person's dietary needs, through such tasty and beautifully presented cakes and pastries, certainly means that this was the best afternoon tea I have ever tasted an enjoyed. We all went home so full, real value for money. The floral displays were so pretty & the atmosphere was so relaxing as John exquisitely played the Baby Grand Piano as we chatted and even sang along at times. You must try this restaurant, that we have nicknamed Worthing's best kept secret. Oh and the history of this 16th century house is wonderful.

What a gem of a find!Myself and a friend went for afternoon tea today to celebrate her birthday. As was promised we arrived as guests and left as friends. The owners, Alex and Ashley/Ashee are so very welcoming, fun to be with, and they make an amazing afternoon tea too!If you're looking for somewhere a little bit different then this is the place to be.I'll be back, probably to try lunch or dinner, or even another afternoon tea. Just had the most wonderful experience at this super venue. My fiancé Nicola took me for a surprise visit for Father’s Day and I was blown away by the whole experience.The venue itself is so unique and the food and wine was superb, but above all else the attentive experience that was given by the owners was nothing more than exceptional.A real hidden gem that we will be returning to as often as we can.Steve & Nicola
