Had a fabulous 3 night stay at the Kinmel. Reception staff very welcoming. Our room was lovely and beds very comfy. The evening meal was excellent and good value for money. We loved the Spa and the thermal/ jacuzzi pool was amazing. We would definitely stay here again.

I have just spent 4 nights in this lovely hotel. From the minute I arrived to the time that I left, the staff and management couldn't have done enough to make sure I enjoyed my stay. …

It's a really nice little hotel with fantastic facilities. The bar and restaurant are both very tastefully decorated and relaxing environments, and the food was great. The hotel is in a peaceful location with beautiful surroundings and only a short walk to the nearby town. The spa facilities were wonderful and relaxing. The only reason I can not give 5 stars is due to our disturbed sleep caused by a squeaky banging door outside our room, the water blade in the hydrotherapy pool not working and the pond outside which is in need of some maintenance.

We stayed here for a week whilst on a coach trip, on first impression everything seam good but there were soon disappointments to come.First the good points the evening meals were outstanding fine dining at it's best. The whole place was spotlessly clean which is credit to the cleaners. No the not so good, there is a clear lack of maintenance throughout. The mens main toilets were leaking before we got there and had buckets under the urinals they were still like it on leaving with no attempt to get fixed. The outside furniture clearly needs replacing especially the wooden benches, this is a wedding venue how they expect people to sit on them I don't now.The cooked breakfast was very poor cheap quality produce and poorly prepared.Toast was a complete nightmare one household toaster between 50+people it was chaotic and the staff up to Wednesday were like headless chickens.Thursday to Friday there was a marked improvement as Thomas one of the managers took over and did a fantastic jobThis next part does not sit very well with me, the waitress were all young girls which looked very young probably under 16 it was more than evident these girl had been brought in just for our coach trip, they didn't seam to having any training at all it looked like it was their first time. As well as training in serving there should be mandatory training in slip, tips and falls and manual handling. They are basically children doing an adults job.Thursday evening after our meal we went into the bar for a drink our usual barman was off as he had work 10 days in a row, so they had no replacement. With no manager in site it was left to these young girls to serve they had no Idea how to pour pints or what drinks to Serve they looked bewildered and out of their depth.Having said all that these girls did a fantastic job at serving our food and worked really hard under very daunting circumstances.I in no way condone the exploitation of young people in this way as a means of cheap labour to maximise profits it is not acceptable.Employ part time or full time trained experienced staff not school girls...

My Sister and I visited for an overnight spa package. The spa was spotlessly clean with professional and attentive staff. The facilities included a small pool, large jacuzzi pool overlooking pond, steam and sauna. Our 90 min treatment included a body scrub, full body massage and facial. Thank you to Jess for a very peaceful relaxing 90 mins. Then into the relaxation lounge overlooking the Welsh countryside.Lunch and evening meal included was delicious and everything about the restaurants was of high quality as was our room. We’ve experienced a lot of spa experiences but The Kinmel/Kinspa was a cut above the rest from the minute we arrived, the venue, treatments, food and our room was exceptional. Looking forward to returning.

A truly top drawer experience at this hotel. Spa treatments are excellent, food is honest and delicious, service is friendly, polite and attentive.Very convenient position just off a55 but feels very far from the road when you are there. We’ll certainly be returning and recommending widely.

Boxing event on at the hotel, wasnt notified beforehand, all kicked off, guests had to be escorted to the toilets. Would not have booked it if we had known. Breakfast.... went down at allocated time, no food available, had to wait 30 minutes for the food to filled back up, coffee machine not working, milk left out uncovered.Spa was good but not run by the hotel. Did complain but the hotel manager played down the incident. Customer services is very poor.

My 3rd visit to this lovely dog friendly hotel with views over some stunning countryside and very easy access to the motorway and beaches, as well as popular towns like Conwy and Llandudno. The onsite restaurant is definitely a plus point and offers a tasty selection at breakfast and dinner to suit different needs, including vegetarian. For dinner, we enjoyed some very fresh & tasty fish dishes! Definitely worth eating onsite! The staff, as always, were very helpful and attentive when needed. Our rooms were comfortable and clean as expected with the usual complimentary teas & coffees provided, as well as bottled water. However, as much as I love this place, an honest review is necessary! Although my room was a decent sized double room with standard hotel deco, the bathroom could definitely do with some renovation! The grouting in the shower was a bit mouldy in the corners and the bottom of the toilet bowl had a permanent stain, which was quite off-putting!My son's room was a smaller double room but was in a better condition and had a mini fridge as well which was a surprise as my bigger double room was more expensive!Overall though, I would still recommend this place for all the previously mentioned plus points!
