Budget hostel with budget amenities. The beds are comfortable but awkward as hell to get in/out due to them piling three beds on top of each other. The shower was really good and the bathrooms were kept clean. My room had no ventilation so was a sweaty mess due to no air flow. The only windows were in the ceilings and didn’t open which is very unhygienic and they didn’t even have a blind so as soon as the suns up, so are you. Having codes on the door is convenient but you’re missing a personal touch as there are no staff what so ever. Location was good.

Do not touch this company with a barge pole. I booked a bed in a female dorm, reached the place, and the tiny room was in the middle of an empty building with no windows and no escape. …

Do not stay here for long. I spent 20 minutes outside as the code was not working to get in, and there was nobody there to speak to, the customer service number I called was very quiet and gave me minimal information, as if they did not want to help. Inside the beds are very uncomfortable and the whole place feels like a drug den filled with alcoholics. What's worse I found out the person I was sharing the room with was a convicted criminal so on top of everything, I felt rather unsafe in the room. Absolute joke, I only stayed here out of necessity. The walls are very thin and you can hear everything so there is no privacy. No kitchens or even a Bin in the room and it was all falling apart. For example, the shower handles fell off when I touched them. There are no windows or any air circulation, so the rooms get very hot, stuffy and humid... Don't stay here.

I can't recommend AVOIDING this place enough. The door is a nightmare to get open and the owner changed the code during our stay without telling us so we were locked out. The facility and rooms are clean enough. The smell is gross as there is no ventilation in the whole building. The rooms are hot and the walls are thin so we could hear our neighbors all night. If you stay here goodluck.

I cannot begin to express my disappointment at my experience with this “establishment”.Me and my friends had to wait around in the Swansea rain for over an hour and a half after the check in time, waiting on the code to gain access to our accommodation. When we finally got a response from the owner with the code and could get into our room, we were greeted by a stranger already in our “room”. It was at this moment that we made the shocking discovery that, despite having paid for 6 beds in a shared room (and being charged for this) they had double booked our room and only reserved 1 bed.1 single bed. 6 angry friends. 1 waking nightmare. As if this wasn’t enough of a joke already, the owner consistently dodged our calls and offered no support whatsoever. Our only solace was found in the owner of the bar downstairs who was very friendly - offering us shelter from the rain and assisting in getting in touch with the owner of the accommodation. The owner promised they would sort something out for us, leaving us waiting on a reply that would never come. What was supposed to be reunion of friends, celebrating our friend’s birthday, ended in ruin. It was destroyed by a shambolic show of rude and poor service that completely ruined our weekend, sending us back home with nothing but the taste of bitter disappointment.I couldn’t recommend booking here any less. If I could give minus stars, I would. Weekend from hell.

Had a staff member come into our room at about 9 am while we were sleeping to tell us we had to leave at 11am which we already knew ! No knock on the door she just opened the door and woke us up !!! I felt so uncomfortable and unsafe and it was totally unacceptable! I would never be staying here again ! Was told that it was a double bed got there and it was a single so two of us had to sleep in a single bed.

You don't get the codes until 3pm there is no correspondence before hand so you do not know to wait for the codes. The rooms are clean mattresses are super budget but you get what you pay for. Very central Swansea easy enough to get around.

An absolutely disorganised mess of an “automated” service that ruined our trip - with us having to return home the same day.Confirmed the booking of a six bed room booking all six beds and upon arrival there was no answer from the “automated” manager of the ex-brothel to confirm or send us a code, we were then sent a text out of the blue saying your new check in time will be another hour, we sat in a local awaiting the code text to get into the building and there was nothing. An hour and a half passes and after several failed attempts by our group and Airbnb support we could not contact the owner of the building. After finally getting in contact with us probably due to the force of Airbnb customer support we were given the entry code to the building. Upon entering it was clear that the place was not very well maintained, there was a handrail on a steep staircase hanging off the wall and if you want to experience what the brothel was like they did not change much, put a bit of chipboard up and stacked some Ikea beds on top of one another. After entering the code to our booked room we could see that there were bags on each bed and another bloke laying down, it seemed that we were double booked. After attempting once again to contact the owner we could not get through, only after enquiring in the separate bar downstairs were we able to contact the owner. If it was not for the support of the staff at this bar we would have been stranded. The owner finally answered and could see the error caused by his complete lack of competence and promised that he would get it sorted, after another hour of sitting around there was nothing… We put in for a refund request and had to cut the trip short, if we had travelled from further afield then this would have left us on the streets of Swansea for the night, utterly shambolic. Save your money and book a hotel.Zero communication, zero care for the customer, horrific.

If I could give it less I would. An absolute farce. First of all when we arrived on the day I had received no email with a code or instructions. I messaged to no answer. Phoned to no answer. We then obviously couldn’t get in. I thought it might be because check in was 4 so me and my group waited at Wetherspoons. Then 4 comes around and nothing. At this point we were talking about the place being a scam. Then finally at 5.30 I got a message with the code. Still annoyed but relieved. We were a group of 6. We booked 6 beds in a 6 bedroom room. When we finally walk into our room we see bags everywhere and are greeted by another man in the room.We went downstairs to the nextdoor that acts as a reception. Got us in touch with the owner. He said and I quote “Let me sort this out and I’ll ring you back”. At this point I was fed up and just wanted a refund. But it didn’t matter because he never got back to me anyway. So in the end what was a supposed to be a fun night out for my birthday was a farce and ruined by their incompetence.
