Stopped here for 2 nights. Cute little apartment style room with separate kitchen area and bathroom. The decor was a little tired but overall the room was very clean and there was plenty of space for 2 adults and 2 children.Disappointed that we were not advised when checking in the hotel doesn't offer food on a Sunday. After a long day out we then had to head out again to try and find something. On the one night we did eat at the hotel, the food was nice. Limited menu but a fair choice of traditional pub classics. There is a lovely little cafe called Avondale (?) which is literally a 30 second walk and does an amazing and good value breakfast.Great location for exploring North Wales and we would definitely return if in the same area again.

We stayed here before getting the ferry across to Ireland. The place is clearly being renovated and they are doing a great job. …

We stopped over on the way to Holyhead. Great little cottage, we had one open room with TV, dressing table, a double bed and 2 singles. 2 adults and 2 older children had plenty of room.Separate kitchen and bathroom, very spacious. The room was clean and had plenty of storage space. Would definitely return.

Great hotel, we had a little apartment/cottage which had plenty of space for 2 adults/ 2 older children.Lots of storage and a separate kitchen and bathroom.By the time we arrived 9.30pm the car park was full but there is a large carpark next door with plenty of space which was free overnight.Perfectly placed for ferry crossings!

After a late check in at nearly 8pm. We were told that the kitchen was shut but we could get a takeaway and eat it with drink in the hotel bar and both my girlfriend and I couldn't fault this. Due to a staff shortage in the kitchen we were advised to go to the cafe over the road for breakfast. We cannot fault the service and level of customer care we received was of a very high standard. All in all a very happy and comfortable stay here . We would come back again.

We walked in an immediately noticed everyone speaking in Welsh which was intriguing. Ordered a late lunch at about 2pm, as they serve food from 12 to 3pm. Friendly and helpful staff. Average selection of beers. Had at least 2 TV screens for sports fans, especially as Wales were playing an international game of rugby. Good sized portions of food. Staff came over and asked if our meal was okay. Well situated right in the centre of town.

OK but Basic. Probably the location not the best. If you want a meal local, the Bull is the only place. Meals ok but Wine not so. Staff very helpful and lady serving at breakfast on her own and very busy but very efficient too!

Brilliant stay on a solo cycle trip to visit UKI 5 countries (England, Wales, Ireland, North Ireland, Scotland). Great room, which was a nice size, clean and very comfortable. I stayed in a room in the outside courtyard which was quiet. The pub was great and nice friendly atmosphere, breakfast was excellent and reasonably priced.
