We stayed in the Bunkhouse, which was basic as we’d expected. However what we didn’t expect was how damp our room was - the walls were damp, all our belongings and clothes were damp… I woke up on the second morning with a chesty cough and …

This hotel is in a perfect location in the centre of betws-y-coed. It has so much potential, but I don’t think they’re making the best of it. The garden area is so untidy and dirty and the outside areas are all dirty. …

We stayed at Glan Aber for three nights over a bank holiday weekend. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the public areas are really nice. There is a great menu in the restaurant and we enjoyed a couple of evenings in the bar. The breakfasts are fabulous - you can order cooked breakfasts from the menu but also enjoy an array of pastries, yoghurt, fruit and cereal. We took advantage of the hot tub and sauna which were brilliant. I must also mention the staff, who were always so helpful and polite. We wouldn't hesitate to stay again.

I booked the Glan Aber Bunk House for 11 guys who had just successfully completed the National Three Peaks Challenge. I have to say it couldn't have been a more suitable venue. The bunk rooms were clean and well appointed, the bar area was great and the drinks reasonably priced, the food was absolutely excellent, and all the staff were super friendly and helpful. We all agreed it was a perfect choice for what we needed.

Lovely, friendly staff. Really great place to stay, staying 3 nights we would of liked the room cleaned and tea/shampoo refilled but not done at all which was a let down when returning from a day out. Breakfast is wonderful! Rooms feel comfy but cleanliness could be slightly better.
