We arrived to a pleasant welcome from the girl at reception and were given the keys to room 9 which is on the second floor, on opening the door we were greeted by the most magnificent view of the estuary and in the distance Fairbourne. …

Fantastic place to stay, very well run, brilliantly located for exploring Barmouth, the surrounding countryside and this beautiful part of the world. The view from our room was pretty special, as is that from the front beer garden where you can take in the estuary, the sea, the iconic bridge in the foreground and the stunning coast and countryside beyond.Service was exceptional, with very friendly and welcoming staff in all areas. The breakfast was fantastic and plentiful to set us up for energetic days! Dogs were not just accommodated but actively welcomed.Rooms have a touch of real class and luxury about them and are very well kitted out and spotlessly-clean. The ensuite bathroom had some lovely touches too.Overall, couldn't recommend highly enough. Thank you for an excellent stay.
