Lovely hotel, bang in the centre of town, with plenty of free parking at the rear. Staff were excellent throughout - friendly and helpful. …

In September 2024 I produced a theatre festival in Llandovery. As part of this I booked the ball room and breakfast room as rehearsal spaces and 8 rooms for actors B&B for a week. …

Lovely meal beautifully cooked. All the meat and veg in our Sunday roast was cooked just as we'd have cooked it ourselves and we even had extra gravy brought to us.Our only criticism would be that there didn't appear to be enough staff behind the bar and we were waiting for a while to order and get drinks then to pay, otherwise lovely.

We had a stay at the Castle hotel, great location for travellers, Prices were very reasonable. Food was excellent, and the staff were friendly and professional. We had both evening meals and breakfast, and it was really top notch . We had a pet friendly room, all the facilities were clean. Overall a great time we had , and would come back again

If I could give 10 stars for the staff who served us our meals this afternoon, I would! Lovely ladies and young man went over and above to make us feel welcome and made a fuss of our dog which is a ‘win’ with us most definitely!Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. We will definitely visit again when in the area.

Popped in for lunch with my daughter after a local job. The smothered chicken and chicken and tarragon pie were lovely and the accompaniments cooked to perfection. Beer is well kept and just the right temperature. …

We booked and paid for a Superior Double Room, but on arrival we were given a "Comfort Twin Room".. obviously Downgraded for some unknown reason? Tried to ask to change rooms but were told all rooms fully booked. …
