We had stayed in campsite nearby and was looking for somewhere local rather than a chain to have some breakfast on our way to our next destination. We stumbled across Minffordd Hotel with a sign saying non residence welcome. What a find. The gentleman was lovely, made us feel welcome. The breakfast was amazing. The best mushrooms 🍄 I've ever had and the hash brown also.

Went on a hike up Cader Idris and stopped in for a couple of beers and food. The service was impeccable, Gordon was super friendly, helpful and great to chat to and the food was top notch. Homemade, fresh and quality food. If you're in the area, I highly recommend stopping by.

The food! Absolutely fantastic. I have never had lamb cooked to such perfection and the steak my husband had was delish. Quite the query vibe but the food quality for the price was exceptional. Truly beautifully cooked food as it should be.
