It's a little gem to stay for a vacation visiting Snowdonia. The host, Nigel and Margaret are super nice and helpful. The cottage is very clean and well equipped with all the utensils you need for a vacation. You can cook as at home and BBQ was a nice experience for us. Only around 15-20 minutes walk to the town of Bala, you can grab the daily necessity and simply pick a cafe for tasty meal. Highly recommended.

Stayed here for a short break, a 20 minute walk into Bala village. Located by Bala lake which is a pretty walk day or night.Accommodation was a lovely little cottage, only down point was our bedroom was facing the road so if you're a light sleeper it's not for you, not as busy as London but I woke up a few times. Had everything needed, I sure enjoyed their whirlpool bath.

Perfectly located for mountain bikers to visit several of the best Welsh bike parks placing them in easy reach, it is also right by a big lake you can swim in on a summers afternoon after a long day of dusty riding. With good food to be had in Bala just down the road these are beautiful comfortable cottages at a great price and Nigel is a simply terrific host.

Had an amazing short holiday break at the cottages, staying in Tythe Barn 2 as a family of four with our dog. The cottage had everything needed to a very good standard, comfortable, clean and welcoming. The kitchen is well equipped. Beautiful surrounds and lovely views across the lake.Margaret and Nigel made us feel very welcome throughout our stay, giving us lots of suggestions on what to do and information on the local area. Highly recommended and we hope to be back soon. Thank you.
