Very pleased with our experience and would definitely return. Most staff were really lovely and welcoming, one exception being the apparently senior restaurant waitress but this did not spoil it overall. Food was basic but excellent value.

Had a great time. The service was excellent and the staff very helpful and friendly. Loved the food. The pub so quirky and so much to see. The bedrooms individual and comfortable. A really good base to use to see this area of North Wales. Will visit again. Will recommend to anyone who asks. Thanks for a great stay. 👍

Great place to eat, and really nice beers! Very spacious pub and has its own large car park. Excellent value for money meals, some even on 2 meals for the price of one. Locally known as ‘The Killer’ as it was often used to ‘kill’ time before your train arrived right across the road.

Myself and my friend came for a catch-up. This was only the 2nd time I've eaten here, yet my friend has been coming for years. We both had the killer chicken and it was great. When the meals came out, they were hot + fresh. …

Have been eating in this pub for the past 7 weeks atleast once a week maybe twice and have enjoyed all my meals. On Sunday we decided to give the Sunday lunch a go and we were very disappointed as the roast beef and pork we had were very tough and my partner found it hard to digest. It was such a shame as the accompanying vegetables and potatoes were lovely but the meat ruined it for us.

Went for a meal here 4 adults and one 6 year old. We have been here several times and always had good food. Last night was not good, the steak pie ( usually lovely) had been sitting under the heat for too long and the pie was dry with a hard crust. My wife had 3 fish bake and same problem, salmon was dry and inedible and the bed of pots the same. The service from the kitchen was slow, it took one hour 45 mins for the meal. On the plus side the child's meal was good and they gave her a free ice cream. We told them when we paid the bill but just an oh. Do not know what has happened at it is normally good. Will cross this off our list.

The food was fantastic, but the servers were miserable and took 20 minutes to get drinks and another 15 minutes to order our food.. food came fast though, so kitchen staff are great.
