Made a reservation almost a week ago through Booking.com. I paid £121 for two with breakfast. On the day I checked, a better room with four poster bed was available for £81. I felt that I was fooled as I paid almost 50% more. The dinner was good. A decent portion for a reasonable price. The bed in room 11 was a real let down. The mattress was very cheap with no springs and was making noise every time I turned. The head board was loose and it was moving.I will not stay again for the above reason.

Booked a table for dinner tonight, 15/9/24, for two people. The staff were very nice and courteous. Didn’t have long to wait for orders to be taken. Very apologetic when advising non alcoholic drink was out of stock. …

We have stayed here many times and Ty Gwyn remains one of our favourite places. Quaint and comfortable accommodation, easy access to Betws and local shops, and amazing food. Everything is freshly cooked and most definitely worth waiting for.

Family evening meal here. Trying to think of any faults, but no luck.Very busy on arrival, confusion over booking, but sorted out quickly by very efficient staff.Ate in the restaurant part. Recommend all dishes, especially the duck starter. Had sea bream as main, followed by cheesecake dessert. The biggest problem with the dinner was my eyes were bigger than my belly.Well presented, well served, all appreciated and even the starters were large. On the expensive side but well worth it.

Just had Sunday lunch here and it was excellent. The food was delicious whilst the service was swift and friendly. Terrific value too - roast beef, desserts and drinks for two of us came to £50. Would happily pay more for food this good - highly recommended.

Visited for dinner on 30/08/24.Slight mix up at the start as they had booked us in the following day by mistake. However, they quickly sorted us a table which was great.Service was really good and everyone was super friendly and helpful. One girl was clearly having a bad day as she was a little miserable but nothing major.Food itself was incredible, very tasty and a great portion size.Would 100% go again when next in the area.

Had an evening meal here at the recommendation of out guest house.Service was a bit slow but this was negated by the wonderful hospitalityThe food was not only fantastic and plentiful but also great value and nothing seemed to much trouble. Not a lot of parking but Its close to the town so i'd suggest walking, especially if your sampling the bar!

We visited for a meal every day whilst staying in Betws-y-Coed, but staying in a different hotel. The food was amazing and so we came back every day to enjoy more. Delicious, freshly cooked, and generous portions. Excellent value for money.

Lovely little pub a short drive away from Mount Snowdon - we booked last minute and were very happy with our room. Had a quick drink when we arrived in the evening (9:30pm) and enjoyed the bar area - a proper traditional pub! The food and menu looked great and regret not eating there instead! Breakfast the next morning was good - good full English, clearly great quality ingredients and the hashbrowns were 10/10. Only criticism was that breakfast didn't start till 8:15am so meant we started walking slightly later than we'd hoped!

We visited the restaurant twice in our most recent visit to Wales. We come here everytime when in wales as the food and service is exceptional. We are soon getting a dog that will prevent future visits but thank you to all staff for looking after us so well over the years.Highly recommended
