We stayed for 2 lovely nights. A fantastic place with the nicest hosts! Wonderfully located (mind the steep road), clean, crisp and lovely food (try the evening meal). Not the place for people looking for a hectic «nightlife», but talking to other guests and reading garden magasinsin the nice lounge area is definately very relaxing 😊

My father and I wanted three days in the Snowdonia region of North Wales. Beddgelert is a delightful village in the heart of the region. Sygun Fawr offered space and comfort so we decided to book based on previous reviews. …

Friendly welcome|Excellent breakfast range inc treats like waffles||Comfortable bed, nice warm room (it got very cold overnight)||The lane/driveway is no big deal unless you’re in a sport car with no ground clearance, in which case accessing the driveway will be a challenge

Magical, is the word I would use. The location is just absolutely stunning, surrounded by mountains and lush greenery. The building itself has so many great places to relax and unwind. The owners and staff and dog are really friendly and attentive to your needs (well maybe not the dog on that one). There are loads of delicious breakfast options, and the evening meal was very high quality. You're only a short drive from the start point for Snowdon.Only thing I didn't particularly enjoy was the shower in the room we had - it's a sit in the bath and wash yourself with the shower hose type job. Some people complain about the track/driveway up to the hotel, but I'd just say that they can't drive :pWould 100% stay again.

5 stars! My experience with Sygun Fawr has been wonderful. The location is lovely and so are the rooms. It has just the right amount of remoteness, without at all being too far removed from the town. The staff is very helpful and friendly. Just sincere nice people. They'll make you feel right at home. Also if you're like me and enjoy a good meal in the morning: they serve THE best breakfast.
