After reading some reviews we were very sceptical about staying here but all I can say is wow. The team work tirelessly on the reception and in the restaurant. |We were greeted at reception by Chris the Deputy Manger who was lovely. …

Only one member of staff to check in the queue that gathered for the 3pm check in time. Only one of the two self service machines were working the other was out of order. …

A very nice hotel in a great area for local activities. Room was very nice and spacious but had one or two areas that required improvement for the price imo. …

I am local to this hotel and often eat breakfast here. £10.99 for all you can eat and drink just cannot be beaten. The cooked choice is lovely, eggs can be scrambled or poached to order and there are all the usual items. …

Don't stay here if you are disabled/a vulnerable adult. I booked a room for a 92-year-old relative attending my wedding this weekend and was told by the manager that they "aren't a care home" when I asked if my relative could ask for assistance if needed during her stay. As it happened, the disabled 'friendly' room did not have a telephone in, so even if she had needed assistance, she couldn't have done anything about it! It is absolutely shocking that a representative of Premier Inn would be so rude towards a patron, irrespective of whether they are vulnerable or not. You can normally rely on the quality of a Premier Inn but apparently not their staff...

A great addition to the small harbour town. Spooner bar and grill is just opposite and has a lovely pub atmosphere that is great with singles and families too. Would definitely recommend the Premier rooms, they have a lovely harbour/railway view.

I have stayed in many Premier Inns, but will NEVER stay here again.|The car park within the curtilage of the hotel “isn’t ours” so not our problem. …
