Owned by the John Lewis partnership, this place is absolutely awesome, picturesque views, fantastic service, and oh so quiet. Great facilities to entertain you like golf, segways, laser shooting, axe throwing, escape room, games room, and a spa for those who wish to relax. As a partner I will definitely be going back.

Staying locally, we came across Bala Lake Hotel, completely by chance. After noticing that we could book activities, we opted for the low ropes and Zip Lining.A huge thank you to Rochelle and Keira for hosting such a well managed, informative but most of all, a really fun session. Such lovely ladies! We hope to return next year when the 'big one' is up and running :o)

As a partner this is best JLP hotel. Stayed here 3 nights. Very helpful staff as normal . The Segway was brilliant fun. The swimming pool, sauna and hot tub were very relaxing . The scenery was amazing due to being fortunate that we had sunshine every day. The only downside point was that the bed we slept on was very firm. Definitely will be returning

My brother and I went for the afternoon tea and it did not disappoint. It was so delicious. A fantastic variety of savoury and sweet delights. The service was impeccable. We will definitely return.

We went for lunch here and it was dreadful. Multiple things were wrong with our order. A pizza even came out instead of pasta. 2 of our group had Welsh rarebit which was just mustard on toast. Wedges came out when we asked for chips. It was almost empty so I dread to think what it would be like when they are busy. Shame really as it has a lovely setting and we visited the spa for a swim and that was lovely.

Beautiful stay at Bala. Wonderful staff who were really helpful when my daughter hurt her knee. Brilliant base for activities in Wales we drove to Harlech beach and had a great time.
