Lovely weekend stay! Dog friendly - they charged an extra £10 per dog per night which seems reasonable and the dog can stay in the room with you.Rooms are decorated nicely, modern and clean and comfortable.Food is really lovely at very reasonable prices. Breakfast was generous and filling with plenty of choice.Staff were all friendly.Great place would recommend.

Really great restaurant. The service was excellent, the food was served quickly and it tasted great. The staff communicated in both Welsh and English. Lots of families with kids in our section but there were other areas for adult groups.

Unfortunately the service was really poor, came for tea around 530 with my partner for her birthday, ordered a starter to share and then waited nearly a hour for our main, no apologies for the wait. During and after we finished we was never asked if everything was ok or needed more drink. We didn’t fancy seeing how long dessert would take so paid up and left. Whilst paying still no question about how everything was. No complaints about the food , the pork belly was really good. Unfortunately the whole service or lack of let the whole night down.

We highly recommend this place for a stay in Bala. Parking was easy, our name was written on the parking bay so no confusion there! Staff were very welcoming and friendly, the room was nicely decorated and had everything we needed. …

Solo cycle tourist, not too many places have single room availability and allow one nights stay too. Excellent secure undercover bike storage. Fantastic evening meal and some great draught beers too. Immaculate room and decor. …

A lovely experience from beginning to end! When we arrived, our name was printed on our parking place, so we knew exactly where to park. The room was well appointed and quite nice and the dining was absolutely fabulous. …

My friends and I went for a Sunday roast, and it was absolutely divine! The quietest we'd been all weekend was when eating, and that was because we all thoroughly enjoyed it. The only two improvements we could think of were that the starter sizes were slightly smaller than expected. Also, we kept having a few near misses because of hot drinks and hot plates being placed down near our children in highchairs. But ending on a high, the puddings were fantastic! I honestly was served the best sticky toffee pudding I've ever had!

If you find yourself in Bala and wanting some Warm food and drink and you ride a motorcycle. Then avoid this place as you are clearly not welcome.Depite there being 4 empty tables inside and EVERY table outside unoccupied we were turned away and told there were no tables available. Their loss, we spent our money across the road in a lovely cafe called Y Cyfnod Cafe & Bistro.(Please see photo)Prices were lower and we were made to feel welcome.Despite being a Car & Van owner too and often in Bala, I will make a point of not returning to this establishment if it's policy is to discriminate against Motorcyclists.
