Stayed for a night with my daughter in a twin room for the university open dayArrived and found it so easy to park in their car park, plenty of spaces.Checked in and found them very friendly and had a nice chat before going to our roomRooms are basic, but I found them to be clean and beds very comfortable. Bathroom also no frills basic but clean, and that's what is important right ?I found all linens clean and fresh and had a really comfy night's sleep. Even better for the morning as there was a kettle and fully stocked tea coffee milk etc.Breakfast was ample and homemade, I had a full English my daughter had cereal and toast.I think £90 for 2 people, with FREE parking and FREE breakfast incredible value these days. All in all a very homely experienceIf you want a 5* experience go to a 5* hotel and pay 5* prices. Otherwise this place is what it is and I found it perfectly acceptable

I would give it 0 stars if I could. My husband and I stayed here for a couple of nights while we were helping our daughter move out of uni.Well, where do I start? We arrived at 1:40 but were told that we couldn't check in till 2, so we were sent away. Once we went back to check in, the lady at the desk said we couldn't pay yet because her daughter was away - the next day we literally had to look for someone in order to pay, absolutely ridiculous. There was a lot of junk in the conservatory which was very messy and an big eyesore. I had to ask for the key once we were told our room number. Once we got to the room, things got continuously worse - there was mould in the bathroom, the curtains weren't hung properly and there were blinds missing, the walls and floor were extremely dirty as well as mould everywhere too. At one point , I thought sleeping in the car would be a better option. The whole room gave us the impression it hadn't been cleaned before our arrival. There was a cobweb hanging from the ceiling which I had to throw a cushion up to get rid of. We couldn't successfully connect to the WiFi either after asking for the password. It's a B&B but there was no mention of how breakfast worked in the mornings. When we checked out, there was absolutely no one around, so just had to leave our keys at the desk without speaking to anyone. Do not stay here, it is the most unprofessional establishment we had ever seen in our lives.

Beds not clean. Cobwebs all over the room.|Smelly towels, definitely a half way house full off Smackheads with 0 teeth. Was made to walk to cash machine as card machine “didn’t work” at 9pm. …

How places like this are allowed to operate is a joke, is there no regulation on hotels?|We booked this place last minute as our original hotel double-booked, we were desperate as it was 9pm and we had a 5 month old baby with us. …

Worst place I ever lived.. mouldy smell all over..linens and bedding not clean and smelly too…Very congested and suffocating atmosphere. We were from very far so there were no other chances to find a different place. We were three families all of us got dust allergies. Not recommended place to stay at all 👎👎👎👎

Unfortunately, this place is an overpriced let down. I would never stay here again. The price is outrageous for what it is, maybe in 2017 this lodge was nice. The room felt run down, dreary and questionably clean. There was a set of dirty towels and underwear left hanging in the bathroom when I arrived, the one lamp was broken, tiles falling off in toilet. The rooms are not soundproofed at all, a neighbor opening their room sounds as if they’re opening your door, at all hours of the night. The place was loud until late several nights, from guests or various long term residents of the place “working on the house.” It feels a bit like you are in someone else’s home and there is a lot going on. The cost compared to other lodgings makes no sense, it costs more and offers way less. I would not stay here again. Aside from the proximity to Snowdonia and the woman who runs it who’s extremely sweet, this place lacks many basic necessities.

Where do I begin... There is one roof window so it couldn't be opened. No table, no chair, no towels, no coffee and unlabelled tea. The place was so outdated it cried out for repair of the mould and cracks and unprofessionally cut carpets. Carpets haven't been hoovered and the linen were both dated and dirty. The drawers looked just like the ones my neighbours leave out on the street after dark. I should add that this was, according to the owner, one of the better rooms at £95 for a weekday out of season. So then, at 22:00 hours the owner's dog sat in front of my door wanting to play with my dog, she left but returned at 23:00 hours when I tried to get some sleep. It was so bad I actually considered leaving in the middle of the night. I could go on but need to catch up on sleep after that experience.

AVOID at all costs.Absolutely disgusting and should be shut down, how people can run a business like this is crazy.Absolutely stinks of smoke throughout, dirty, run down, mold in bathrooms, grime around taps and showers. We found a used cotton bud next to the pillow, there's no way the bedding was cleaned between guests.Absolutely disgusting, an embarrassment of a hotel, worse than a hostel.

The house is a bit old, but it is clean. Can't really complain, especially for the price we paid. The staff are lovely and nice to chat with.
