Excellent place to stay, especially if you are returning or going on a ferry! We booked from outside their door (lastminute trip) and everything was so very easy to sort.Their place is extreme clean and comfortable. They do not provide breakfast but there is a gorgeous cosy room which guests can use which has comfortable settee with coffee table and two tables with chairs to eat at. They provide free snacks and drinks for customer use (besides having coffee, tea and biscuits in the rooms). We took a takeaway back and were pleased to see that plates, knives, forks, glasses etc were available for guests to use.I would have no hesitation in recommending The Hut to any friends and family who may be visiting the area.

We stayed here the night before our ferry to Dublin the next morning. A delightful place to stay. Clean, tidy, welcoming and well organised. Not the biggest room but had everything we needed and was very cosy. I would also add that the adjacent pub "The shipping office" was excellent, perfect for a much needed pint after a long drive!

Stayed here (probably just like everybody else) for the night before a crossing to Dublin and was very happy. The room was pint-sized but very cozy, clean and well-organized, the downstairs lounge is a good place to be and actually offers quite a lot in terms of drinks, little snacks etc. Just make sure your luggage's not too bulky for the staircase. 😉Btw: I too am one of those people who like a real-life receptionist, but then again I can see and understand that with such a small-scale place it's a question of whether it's absolutely necessary. Anyway, self-check-in worked perfectly. And: location is perfect, very close to train/ferry.Holyhead as a town: interesting and atmospheric, though it does look like the local businesses could do with a *lot* of support.

The Hut Seafront Inn is largely a self-serve lodging experience. If you need a receptionist or concierge, this might not be the place for you. Also, the hallways are a bit snug if you are a larger individual. With that in mind, our stay was excellent. The room was quaint. We enjoyed the decorations. The restroom was spacious. Finally, we really enjoyed the first floor cafe.

Lovely guys running the show. Had no problem letting us in earlier than the booking wa originally planned. Holyhead was alright but the hotel/guesthouse or whatever you would call it was brilliant. Eclectic mix of characters in the social area , tea and coffee provided. All you need for a comfortable stay. Extremely clean as well!

Cannot rate this place highly enough. Owners went above and beyond to accommodate us and our pooch after our tent got waterlogged and we only had PJ's to our name. Even tumble dried our clothes! …

Great place for stop over to ferry. Everything was super clean, and the little eating area was a real bonus. The instructions to find the hut and to get in made the whole experience really easy!

Very cosy room, beautifully decorated with every last detail considered (the folding table is a really useful touch). Bed v comfy with nice bedding and sheets. Bathroom on the smaller side, but not an issue for me, it was functional and thanks to the shape of the sink I even managed to hand-wash a couple of small items of clothing.I love the refill toiletries, reducing packaging waste <3Had some broken sleep due to a group of guests (no doubt getting ready to catch the early ferry) communicating with each other across the hall, but there's not much the inn can do about that.Had a very nice chat with one of the owners on checking out and almost didn't want to leave 😊Would have loved to experience their breakfast, but they no longer offer this. There's a little community area downstairs for having your own meals though or just looking out the window :)

One of the most cosiest hotelrooms I stayed in. I really appreciated the little details you payed attention to for example the tea-bar in my room or a detailed describtion of what to do in holyhead. Very close to the city center and uncomplicated check-in and check-out.
