Very clean, quiet and good value for money. A simple self service breakfast bar, large dining/living room to eat it relax in. Large kitchen to cook your own evening meal. Access to washing machine which is great when away working. …

Having talked to Dawn, a really lovely, hard working lady, the B&B was exclusively oil workers but since the down turn on the rigs they have diversified. It means that tourists are staying in the "home" of the rig guys. …

The Guest House was clean, tidy and well decorated. Our room was great value with a spacious ensuite. Although a cooked breakfast wasn't available the other offerings were adequate. The owners were very friendly and helpful. …

Although we got lost in the rain getting to the guest house (thank you Google maps! And construction diversions), we enjoyed our stay. Beds were very comfortable, Wi-Fi connection was excellent. Parking was adequate. Breakfast was a basic cold offering which was appreciated. It was reasonably priced for a safe place to sleep.

Spacious and clean room, nice bathroom. There is a fully equipped kitchen so you can cooke your meal or warm a takeout, there's a big meeting/dinning room with a big flat TV. Room 8 had a smaller flat TV, kettle, hair dryer, plenty of electrical plugs. Dawn was very nice. Solid self service breakfast

Myself and a friend travelled by motorbike and spent the 1st night of the trip here. Plenty of parking, clean, modern and spacious rooms, first rate ensuite and the run of the house! Lovely comfy lounge/dining area and access to the whole kitchen. Fab breakfast and extremely friendly staff. Will definitely be back!

Upon 1st impressions it's dated. Family pics n plants n stuff around the place make it feel like you are intruding on someone else's home. …

Located in Bucksburn this hotel provides good reach to Aberdeen Airport. There is also off street parking to the front of the accommodation for approx 8 cars. The guest house is off the main road to airport so very quiet from road noise. The guest house appeared unmanned for check in but full instructions were left on how to securely access room key. Room 7 was a lovely size double room. It had a tv with freeview and tea station. There was a hair dryer in the warddrobe. The en suite shower room was really nice and big. I didn't use the shower but the water pressure on the basin seemed bit lacklustre. There is a dinning room and kitchen area downstair. I didn't really use or investigate this as was out for dinner and had an early start.I don't know what breakfast was like. Some noise from other rooms but not after 2200.Very comfortable and very clean. Got a great sleep. Black out blinds in bedroom. Will definitely look to use again as suits my requirements for work. I like the parking arrangement.

Everything about McKenzie guest house was first class. Before arriving we received a courtesy call from Dawn giving us instructions on everything from keys, access to WIFI, TV, kitchen etc and made us very welcome. Dawn also said to call her anytime if we needed anything as she was not on duty that weekend. Everything was more than we expected. Spotless and every inch a home from home. Finally we had a lovely breakfast taken care of by the delightful Karen. My husband & I will definately be back and highly recommend it! Maureen & Chico
