Staying here was absolutely lovely, the owners were incredibly nice and polite and made you feel so welcome as well as Gabby the dog! Was easy to check in and out and they offered a delightful breakfast. Bus routes were very frequent near the property which was helpful too. Would definitely stay again next time I’m in Edinburgh!

Located in a quiet part of town, you can actually see Carlton hill and Edinburgh castle from afar. Few bus stops around and close to proximity which run and will get you to the town proper. One right just right outside the house. Jim the owner is very friendly and accommodating to my request. Room is clean and bed is super comfy. Breakfast is yummy which is important! Also comes in with a super sweet and friendly dog who will greet you each time. Definitely recommending this place. And stay here again when I come back to Edinburgh.

It's a few years since we got up there but the most memrable one, was when a few of us gathered there and stayed before a wedding in the centre of the city. One of our group was an usher and was kitted out in a tartan. Being from Worcestershire the merriment and teasing by other guests/staff brought fun for all. The kilt seemed to match the decor. Staff lovely..rooms spacious and well decorated. Couldn't do enough for you!!
