The room was dirty from the beginning. There was no daily cleaning at all for the whole three days of our stay and in addition we could see dirty laundry from other rooms in the corridors. …

Despite the staff or rather 'crew' being friendly, I have to rate our stay as poor based on our expectations gained by the presentation of this accommodation on booking.com. …

Awesome location and value! Each room has its own bed, bathroom, and kitchenette. Shared laundry room, game space, reading, and visiting area. Larger kitchen area downstairs. Coffee available all day! Good customer service. Very walkable to nearby activities.

Couldn't be happier with the Hotel. Free breakfast was basic but plentiful and satisfying. Room was spacious and clean. Great location and price. …

Thought I had reviewed aftet my stay here for the Festival in 2022. Can't find it so here goes. I really enjoyed staying here. None of the bad experiences that other reviews mention occurred to me. …

We booked this place based on the good reviews. As expensive as a hotel room but it is a student residence with students around. We got an empty student studio on the ground floor with very basic equipment. On the first day we arrived in the morning and we could not leave our luggage at the hotel till check-in time at 3pm due to lack of space, although it's a huge space! When we got in the room, there was a horrible smell of bleach that lasted long and the floor was dirty, windows were also very dirty. The bed was horribly uncomfortable, too narrow for a couple (130 cm), super hard and making a lot of noise with every small move. We asked to move to another room with a better bed but they said they were fully booked. Rooms get cleaned every 3 days, and we didn't get any as we only stayed 3 days. Location was very central and close to main sights, at check-out we could leave our luggage (which by default you should be able to do at your hotle).

Wonderful experience at Vita. The location was great, ten minute walk from Haymarket station and 15 minutes from the centre of town. The room was large and very modern. There was a full kitchen in the room which was really useful. …

On our first night arriving at the hotel there was a black dirt thingy on our bed, the floor had not been vacuumed. The linens were changed once during our four day stay and there was a black mark on our duvet. For breakfast there was no ham or eggs. We were very disappointed in our overall stay.

Modern and pretty hotel. Seems it is usually a student residence, and during summer they also accomodate tourits. All good but the breakfast its a mess, at this little common kitchen they cant handle all the guest at same time. Its not a proper hotel breakfast, no ham neither eggs or protein. That's my only complain

Amazing! Loved it.The room was exactly what we needed for our short stay... really clean, comfortable and had a great view of Edinburgh! The communal area downstairs also has a really cool design and facilities, like table tennis and pool table.Great location.5 stars, would stay again for sure.
