We went with friends to Scotland, and Edinburgh was the last two night stop before returning home. The hotel was adequate for our needs and reasonably priced. …

Location for Leith is great - and actually I walked into the city centre (took about 35mins), and it was a nice walk in the sunshine. Quiet street. Great views of the park from the front of the hotel. …

We had been looking for an inexpensive hotel to stay over one night, through from Glasgow for a party. We weren’t expecting much because of the cost, but were very pleasantly surprised. …

The hotel is quite far from the city but it’s near the sea, park, and supermarket. My room is quite small but it’s fine for me. The things I didn’t like is the floor is so dirty. Look like it isn’t cleaned for years. A lot of hair on the rug. Very disgusting. The staff is friendly and the check out process is very easy.

I stayed at this hotel 2 years ago, I ended up finding it here on the map and decided to leave a review. I was very well received and found the room, bed linen and bathroom very clean...The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were very white, clean and well ironed. my room faced the park, it was my first time in the city and I was very grateful.

Smelly carpets that need removed, dusty walls everywhere, smell.of puke and curry. Soft old mattresses. This is a horrendous hotel. The view of the Park is nice and that's it. Just avoid this place and do yourself a big favour.

This hotel advertises as basic and in my experience that has always meant cleanliness and basic commodities. However, the room was incredibly dusty, the heating was off and the windows are not double glazed, so in mid April it gets quite uncomfortably cold. Serves its purpose, but for the money I think it could be better.

A clean & comfortable hotel & across from a nice park - a lovely girl was always ready to help us especially with the taxi - her name was Trishna - the one problem we had was my sister said they would turn the heat on in her room but it never came on & she was freezing during the night - other than that everything was good!

Called to book an appointment and the receptionist was very very rude. He started swearing at me as he thought I was calling from an energy company. All I said was “how are you sir are you ok”. And then he started going at me for a few minutes. Very very disrespectful man and I would watch out whilst speaking to him in person. And now you have the cheek to respond to my previous review above saying I’m a lier and that I actually am calling from an energy company even tho you was apologising towards the end of the initial phone call saying they always call you and you got confused. Listen here pal I’ve stayed with use before and never will again. The cheek to respond saying I called from an energy company even though you was apologising towards the end of the call. I don’t wana hear about your problems with energy companies, you deal with them yourself, very rude man.
