We had a great stay at Ian‘s and David‘s guest house. They were fantastic hosts and made our stay really special. On our first day we received an excellent information about the city and activities to do. Furthermore, we loved the freshly made Scottish breakfast. The rooms are lovely (a perfect mixture of modern comfort and keeping it typical with e.g. old shutters) and it was perfectly clean.

I was met with the wonderful smell of homemade bread being made! Ian and David have created a wonderful space (and delicious food) that is immaculate. It's a great location, and I wish I'd had more time to explore the neighborhoods nearby. No complaints at all. Wonderful time there, and I'd stay again.

We stayed at Castle Park for a week and couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. From the convenient location, tasty breakfast, thoughtful and eye-appealing rooms, owners Ian and David have created a memorable accommodation experience. We were very grateful to have found their accommodation as it was the perfect base as we explored the city. Thanks again and we hope to stay here in the future. Now I will go and try and recreate David's eggs and attempt to make a tattie scone. Cheers to you both!

I loved staying at the Castle Park Guest House! The room and bathroom were so clean and comfortable. It was within walking distance of Victoria Street and the Royal Mile. Ian and David were so kind and accommodating. As a solo traveler, I felt safe at the Castle Park Guest House. The breakfast was homemade and delicious. It felt like staying at your favorite relatives's home. I will definitely stay here again when I return to Edinburgh.

We would thoroughly recommend Castle Park, an intimate small guest house. Our room was well appointed with a comfortable big bed, desk, seating area and coffee, tea and biscuits which were replenished each day. …
