Although we had some problems with the air conditioning, the staff here have been really helpful and kind.I'd highly recommend this hotel for its central location and the friendly accommodating staff. The rooms are clean and comfortable and well maintained. It's a favourite in Glasgow, just off George Square and four minutes away from Queen Street railway station.

Unacceptable room quality. The extent of mold at the window is inexcusable. Anyone with a respiratory illness may be affected. || Severely under par for what this business should be known for!  …

Largely adequate. Room showing fair amount of wear and tear, but generally clean with a comfortable bed. Breakfast is not cheap unless you treat it as an all-you-can-eat buffet: there's no coffee & pastry option. Minimal staff presence: no room cleaning or service unless requested at the seemingly permanently-vacant reception. Booked online, self check-in, self check out. Only interaction with staff over 4 days was at the bar to request a couple more tea bags that were instantly offered.

I have felt for a while now that Premier Inn are no longer the good value & attractive hotels they used to be. The Glasgow George Street hotel can now only be described as "basic." …

I was amazed at how close this hotel is to Queen Street Station. It does not look that close on the map. A convenient location for sightseeing around central Glasgow on foot. The hotel is just off George Square, where architectural wonders await you. Plus, the Red Tour main sightseeing bus stop is virtually across the road. The hotel was clean, well-maintained and very very quiet. I slept like a baby, which was great as I'd travelled the night before on a coach and gotten no sleep. And I was in Glasgow for work. I love that they've done away baths (well, in my room) and had a large walk-in shower instead.I had dinner, with a glass of wine in the hotel, which was lovely. My only criticism was that more vegetarian or vegan choices are needed on the menu. Perhaps the introduction of Jack Fruit curry or halloumi burgers might be nice. I had a great deal in the restaurant - two course dinner, a soft drink and breakfast for £26. Wow! Unfortunately, because I'd not slept the night before, I overslept so missed breakfast.I will definitely stay in this hotel again, the next time I am in Glasgow for business or pleasure.

Great location, friendly staff. Clean and comfortable. Sadly the windows are single glazed so room was very noisy. Ask for a room on the inside and I expect it will be better

We stayed one night in room 6 on the lower ground floor.||||Despite there being a bit of queue to check In and some technical issues with the self service kiosks I was able to check in quickly and relatively easily. …

We were told two days before our stay the restaurant and bar were closed. This affected our plans as we were attending a concert and our schedule was tight. Had to eat elsewhere. …

This was our 3rd stay at this hotel in as many years and apart from the restaurant being closed for renovation it was very good, as for restaurant? |(Never used it before so did not miss it.) …

Arrived at 11:30am today (website stated that you can pay an extra £10 for early check in starting from 11am) and the receptionist was extremely efficient and friendly. No rooms were ready when I came (NOT an issue btw - I was mainly looking to store my luggage so I didn’t have to lug my case around half of Glasgow) so the receptionist told me to come back at 1pm, and also kindly stored my very large suitcase for me😂. Came back at 1pm and room was ready! For the price I paid this room is beautiful (I’m not a picky person. As long as the room is clean that’s fine by me, it’s just a place for me to sleep really). Very clean, spacious and airy. Comes with a hairdryer, tea/coffee facilities, TV, towels, shower gel and a sofa😍. Bed is very comfortable. Can’t comment on the breakfast as I won’t be using that service but from what the menu said they seem to have a good selection and it seems to be reasonably priced. Overall if you’re looking for an affordable yet high quality room I would highly recommend this hotel.
