Not many plugs in the room they have plugs with built in usb ports down stairs and no usb ports in the room surly if you can put the plugs with built in usb ports downstairs then they can put them in the rooms like other hotels we have been to and to try to find the in information instead of being only on the lifts surly to make it easier to put them on the back of the room door instead of walking back and forth from the lift and order the lift and walk back to my room the room is definitely not enough suite the shower is next to the bed and not separate the way and en suite is ment to be en suite is a small separate room

Stayed here due to the location. We were seeing a concert in the Motorpoint arena and this was the closest hotel. You get what you pay for however I’ve paid less for a travel lodge and had a much better feel/comfortable night. …

The guy on reception very friendly and helpful , the lift is very slow when you press for it. The room is quite spacious but didn't smell the cleanest. The bedding had some a few iron burns/rips and also didn't smell the best. The shower was very big and ideal. Bed not very comfy

Had a enjoyable stay while the rugby was on. Very Covid compliant and great service too. Some rooms back on to a railway but we weren't disturbed too much by the noise. Rooms are comfy and clean.

The room was so tired and just generally looked old. Towels were just dumped on the bed, looked clean but not ideal. For the record, however, the staff redeem this place. They were all lovely, helpful and really pleasant to interact with.

This budget hotel was perfect for what we needed it for, cheap, clean, friendly and ideally situated for Motorpoint Arena. A short walk from Cardiff Central Station with shops and restaurants on the doorstep. …

Had a good experience at Ibis except that fact that the rooms are small! But for the price ,it’s okay. The Location is great, very close to the city centre and many nearby attractions. The staff were helpful and the for a three day stay, the rooms were cleaned everyday. If you aren’t going to be sitting the room all day and need a hotel in the centre, go for it!

Hotel decor was awful, felt very unwelcoming as soon as you walked in. I work for Accor hospitality and couldn’t even get any discount from them so had to pay the full £60 which was completely not worth it. The room felt like it had very thick air with an off smell and the room decor was dated. Got woken up by housekeeping knocking on my door to see if I was out the room at 9am and couldn’t get back to sleep. Would not recommend this hotel.

Stayed here for one night. Rooms clean staff friendly. We weren't happy with our first room. Only thing wrong with it was we overlooked the railway line. Didn't like the noise. Asked if they could move us to a room at the front. No quibbles sorted and in our new room within 15 minutes. Goodnight's sleep good breakfast. Good stay will stay here again.

The staff are extremely friendly and polite, and greet you with a smile. The bedding is comfortable, but the rooms are pretty budget and the bathroom was awkward to use. I think I was put in a disabled room, but how anyone disabled would use it, I don't know! The bathroom was difficult to use even though I'm not disabled. The breakfast was okay but the seating area was very small. The dinner could definitely be improved - I didn't have it the second night as the first night involved a buffet style service of one vegetarian option and one meaty one. I had the vegetarian option, which was a spicy vegetable curry (this was passable), but the rice was hard.I had left a sign on my door to say not to come in as I'd left valuables there, but housekeeping did anyway. Obviously nothing was taken, but I'd deliberately left things a certain way.All in all, it was an okay stay but definite issues.
