Had a great time here for an Open Mic music night. Don't actually know about the rooms as we didn't stay, but the service and food are great. Location was handy as we were staying in the village. Lovely atmosphere and some excellent music. Thanks to all for a memorable evening.

For pub: Great food and service, nice atmosphere. For room: We stayed two nights. Breakfast situation imperfect, and bed not great (but fine). But the room offered a nice space for ourselves, and while you shouldn't try to sleep before 11pm afterwards it's real quiet.

We stayed at an Airbnb just down the road. Turned up on a Saturday evening after a very long journey hoping that they did food. We were not disappointed. Beautiful view from the beer garden. Very dog friendly. It was a lovely evening so we ate outside by choice. I don't know if dogs are allowed inside. The pale ale on draught was excellent as was the Madri. The food was good old fashioned pub grub and the service was good and friendly.

This used to be a great little village pub and once did great meals like Sunday roasts but it now mainly serve extremely overpriced ready meals and frozen cooked food!! The pub was once good and had lots of venues of verious different bands and entertainment playing every few weeks but no longer dose this since the change of management I would not recommend this place at all.

Arranged a surprise birthday party at The Ship Inn Trefin with Hayley (Bar Manager) and Sean (Chef). They were both really helpful, as was the owner, Paul. The team were a real pleasure to deal with: approachable, personable, easy-going, efficient, and nothing was too much trouble. The food (in this case a meat chilli, veggie chilli, rice, and lots of accoutrements) is a cut above, it really is. Highly recommended.

Great pub in beautiful seaside village. Brilliantly kept ale and cider. I thought the food was absolutely superb. Home cooked leak and potato soup and steak and Guinness pie could not have been better. Best meal I've had after 7 days on the Pembrokeshire coastal path.

Didn't eat, just crisps and beer in garden as it was sunny. Dog friendly through out pub, food looked good and it's open every day.
