“Absolutely fantastic stay! The room was immaculate, spacious, and beautifully decorated, offering every comfort you could need. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the amenities provided made our stay truly relaxing. What made it even better was the location—just a 20-minute distance from the Temple, making it incredibly convenient to explore the area. As for some reviews mentioning noise, it’s just part of the experience when you’re away from home—everyone’s excited, and with the puja starting at 5am, many guests wake up early. When kids are up before 4am, a little crying is natural—sometimes kids are just being kids. Overall, we had a wonderful time, and I’d highly recommend this place for a mix of comfort and convenience!”

We went with family (2 young kids) and stayed in Skanda Hafan apartment for 3 nights. Room was clean and ventilated. The ambiance around was very pleasant and peaceful. Self check in process was easy and all the required details were sent over email before our arrival. The fridge, microwave, some plates and spoons were extremely helpful especially when we travel with kids. The room was warm admits the cool breeze outside the property. Pillows were provided enough. Since it is volunteer run, please ensure the booking is made in advance and any cancellation would take time. I had to rebook my stay there as my initial dates booked weren't convenient. I didn't receive response from them for my email for more than 7 days. However, Skandavel volunteer reached out to me and helped to re-arrange our dates. Recommended.

We stayed for two nights in the Cedar and Maple rooms. The double bed and bunk beds were both quite spacious. The room featured a good-sized sink, fridge, and microwave, which were excellent additions. The toilet was spacious with a lovely mirror and enough tissues for our stay. There were plenty of pillows and generously sized towels.**Recommendation**: The accommodations were comfortable and well-equipped, with ample space and essential amenities. Highly recommended for a pleasant stay.

We stayed for a night and overall it was a pleasant stay.One particular point was that its so silent and peaceful and hence very noisy when people in neighbouring rooms make some noise or speak in a high pitched tone or even opening of the door.We had a sleepless night due to a very noisy family who I think woke up as early as 4am with kids.Just to be mindful on this, otherwise a pleasant stay and 20 mins from the Ashram.

We had a wonderful stay at Skanda Hafan! Nestled in a charming little town, the property is surrounded by breathtaking greenery. It's also conveniently located just 20 minutes from the mesmerizing Skanda Vale.A small heads-up for future guests: Our room didn't come with soap or shampoo. Since there aren't many shops nearby, it's best to pack your own toiletries for your stay.

I was delighted to be staying here - a quiet location tucked away in the hills, proximal to Skanda Vale, in a small pleasant room (Hazel) that had everything I needed - kettle, fridge, bathroom with shower, and although the mattress was uncomfortable I had blankets in my car I could pad it with.However, I sadly probably won't stay here again because of the noise from other guests during my 3 night stay. People arrive late and leave very early (because of the pujas at Skanda Vale) and can be completely oblivious to the impact their loud chatter and shouting across rooms, banging of doors and thumping up and down the stairs have on other people staying there. During my stay, one night about 3-4 families arrived together at 11pm and were very noisy until 1.30am. Each morning the same thing happened from 4.40am until 6am. I spoke kindly with various people several times to ask them to be quieter, and although apologetic, it never did get quieter. I absolutely understand the excitement of arriving here, and also the fact that pujas at Skanda Vale begin early and end late, but the upstairs rooms are simply not designed for this. The small print rules to observe quiet between 10pm - 7am have to be made MUCH clearer, and because they won't always be followed, there needs to be some kind of night reception or warden (not only a number to call for emergencies). Either that, or let potential visitors know before they book, that it may be noisy early and late.I returned home from my break a day earlier than planned because I was so tired. I'd love to visit Skanda Vale again, but would want to be assured of good nights' sleep. All that said, thank you dear volunteers for all you do to keep this place so clean and beautiful.

Stayed at Skanda Hafan in Wales for one night and had a fantastic experience. The location was perfect, with clear instructions making it easy to find. The room was impeccably clean and comfortable. Also, appreciated the availability of parking. Highly recommend for a hassle-free stay!
