Excellent 3 night stay at Browns. Staff were extremely friendly and professional. Nothing was too much trouble. Room was immaculate. The food was outstanding. Best steak and mushroom risotto ever. The dogs even had a sausage each for breakfast. Will definitely go back.

Dexters at Brown's was excellent, every steak was cooked to perfection. The service was second to none. Rob who dealt with our orders was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble for him.We were a table of 10 and couldn't have asked for a more attentive person to look after us.Well done Rob and well done Dexters

We had a nice stay here. The breakfast was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. We booked to eat in the restaurant below which was also very good. I would say the place is looking slightly tired and needs a bit of tlc but only nothing major.

Had a fabulous one night stay at Brown's Hotel. Close to the castle and Dylan Thomas trail. The superior room was really lovely with exposed stonework and beautifully decorated. Slight issue with low beams leading to the bathroom. We had dinner in the restaurant and the Sirloin steaks were delicious - the best we have had- cooked perfectly. Also the soufflé starter was again delicious. Good range of wines. We were so full we couldn't manage a dessert. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast was excellent. Would definitely stay here again. Lovely experience.

Evening meal at Brown's.Sadly we were put by the door on a window bench, no comfy seats. Very hot in restaurant. Also very dark.Food was very good. Limited veggie options but what was available was lovely.Staff were lovely.

Room was quirky but no wardrobe or cupboards. Lots of stairs up and down all over the place. Evening meals superb but breakfast quality woeful. Poached eggs like bullets. Staff are brilliant. Very overrated at 4.5 stars. No views from room.

This hotel was ideally placed for visiting Dylan Thomas places of interest. All walkable from hotel. Also the castle just next door. Lovely room and comfortable bed great facilities for tea, coffee and the added bottles of Prosecco just made it!

Went here for an evening meal. The food was out of this world. Never have I had a Lamb steak that was so juicy and perfectly delicious. It did not need anything, and I wasn't even asked how I like my steak... it's like the chef just knows how to cook to perfection every time.For an experience of perfect fine dining, This is the place to go.

What a lovely hotel the staff were very nice they made your stay very good the meal in the evening in dexters were the best we ever had and the breakfast in the morning was the best would definitely recommend this hotel and we will be back.I would book dexters for your evening meal when u book the hotel they get very busy.
