I stayed in the cottage next door and it was a home away from home. Very clean and tidy with an oven, microwave, fridge freezer and all the pots and pans. The bed was cosy and warm with an ensuite bathroom. The pub was attacked next door so it was just one door down. I was greeted by the bar man and he was very friendly and cheery.I ordered the local lamb chops with mash, vegetables, gravy with mint sauce. Lovely good sized portion and the chops were melt in the mouth.I had to leave early so I mentioned this to the bar man and he had a word with the chef and she did me a packed lunch which was also spot on.All n all a lovely stay. And a thank you to the lady and gentleman that chatted to me for an hour or so about the local attractions.
