Very cosy place - slept well here! Lady who runs the place is very friendly! Good place to start for coast to coast walk. Conveniently very close to station, two pubs for dinner and post office for essentials. Would recommend as also a good price too to stay for the night!

I stayed one night at the start of my Coast to Coast walk. Owner was very friendly and helpful. Room was very clean, comfortable and had all you could need for a night away. Plenty of choice with the continental breakfast. Only a short walk to the beach for the start of the Coast to Coast.

Lovely place, really friendly owner. Room was spacious, clean and cosy. Great shower too. Only minor thing was breakfast room right outside our room so could hear guests. Apart from that fab. Would definitely stay again.

Great place to stay, cute little rooms and very homely. All facilities were clean and very well equipped. ||Easy access if travelling by train and plenty of free parking for the accommodation. ||Lulu couldn’t be more helpful and I’ll definitely be back.

It was wonderful to arrive at Lulu’s after a very long travel day…Lulu’s warm friendly welcome was just what was needed. The room was clean and bright. And she was so willing to answer ant questions, make reservations for us etc. I would love to come back to visit again.

This whole establishment has seen better days. Hygiene for breakfast (which was a do it yourself affair) was poor. Blind in the bedroom held up with an ornament. Blind in bathroom didn't work and glass is clear. …

Starpoint for my coast to coast walk. But the airline has lost my luggage and did not want to come out with it the same day I arrive here. And the day after when my walk should start they dont want to come until evening. Since I have another hotel booked that day they dont want to pay for transfer the luggage so far. They suggest I should pick up the luggage at airport. But it was actually the owner of Lulus who solve the problem with her calls to airline and couriers. Good work.

We stopped here 18 months ago, we had been looking for another break away and lulus popped up.I forgot to write a review.We absolutely loved our stay here, nice peaceful village with a few nice pubs and walks, the hot tub was an added bonus under the calm stars, making us feel like noone was around.There is a train station right next door, we could hear them approaching and we actually enjoyed watching them pass, the last train is fairly early so no distribution to sleep. The host lives in the accommodation on the bottom floor, she is such a kind welcoming lady that wouldn't disturb you unless you needed assistance. Thank for our lovely memories Louise.

This is where Chabak Chabak stayed for a night before departing on his trip to the CTC road in England. You were assigned a station view room right next to the train tracks. This is a hotel where you can prepare your own breakfast.

A home from home with only a few, well appointed rooms. Ample choices are provided for guests to prepare their own continental breakfast. St Bees has 2 pubs within 100m of Lulu's that provide meals. (Be aware that they stop serving early, 8.00/8.30pm.) St Bees is a good centre from which to visit the W Cumbrian coast and beyond.

The exterior and gardens look a bit neglected, but we got a warm welcome ||and the room although small was clean. The breakfast room was a bit cramped but OK, No cooked breakfast offered but shown how to use the egg boiling machine.

Never fails to deliver. Extremely clean and amazing continental breakfast. We will definitely book again .bathroom big ,walk in shower and big corner bath .the sheets were so soft and the bed Extremely comfy
