We had an amazing stay. Rachel and James's are very friendly and attentive hosts, they continuously made sure we had everything we needed. The room was very clean, nicely decorated and well equipped, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and very nicely presented. We would definitely stay there again!

Amazing experience. The house is located at the end of the road, surrounded by wild landscapes. Stunning view from the rooms windows. All modern comfort in house, including a kitchenette and pleasant dining room. James has been super friendly and helpful. Strongly recommended.

Papillon is a great place to stay in Skye, the location makes it quite easy to visit the different sites on the isle. We stayed in the Tin House for 3 nights, it is a beautiful place with a stunning view on Loch Vatten. Very quiet and peaceful. Communication was easy and pleasant with both James & Rachel. Would definitely recommend this place !

The hosts were very friendly and helpful, the breakfast buffet was excellent, the room and bed were good, what was missing were sockets for blow-drying near a mirror and for charging mobile devices. I can also recommend it, it's a bit remote, ideal if you're looking for peace and quiet.

Tin hut reserved throughout our stay on the Isle of Skye (3 nights). Super well-equipped accommodation, functional kitchen, comfortable bedding, fantastic view from the bed. In short, calm and serenity.

We had a fantastic few days in the Tin House. The accommodation was superb, really high quality but above all, the location is stunning. All that, coupled with some surprisingly good weather made for an amazing trip. ||We would definitely go back again!

Squeaky clean room with thoughtful touches, our hosts were warm and friendly. |The room had beautiful views of the water and was a real joy to wake up to. Highly recommend staying here if you're in Skye!

my husband and i spent 4 nights at the beautiful new Tin House. We highly recommend it. Huge windows and a cute porch with chairs that look out onto the loch. The house is a lovely well appointed studio with a full kitchen, small dining area, couch and very comfortable bed. Lots of very nice touches including soft robes, adirondack chairs on porch, welcome wine. The owners are a very nice couple and were very responsive to any questions we had and provided excellent local tips in advance. The location is outside Dunvegan which had some great restaurants in the surrounding area. Thanks for a wonderful visit to the Isle of Skye!!

Wonderful hosts and beautiful home. This was our favorite B&B we stayed at in Scotland. They went above and beyond with making the room feel cozy, and we had a delicious breakfast every morning. Location is remote, so if you're looking for a few weekends away from it all, this is a perfect spot.
