As some people have noticed it already - way too expensive for what you get!!We got a small room with our own bathroom behind the main building. It was more like a shed attached to the building. The furniture and bed was stuff that you wouldn't even get at a flee market. The room was clean, otherwise I would give it a 1 star.It all just looked improvised and very badly made. Which might be also be fine for some people but don't charge so much!We were there on a hot summer day (no AC) but I don''t wanna imagine how freaking cold this room will be with bad or cold weather. Also signs of mold in bathroom (floor) and some corners in the room.Check-in was only via phone so I can't really say anything about the staff. They were friendly over the phone but we managed to get access to the building very easy due to other guests and cleaning staff.

My husband (I’m 100% blaming him for not reading the reviews here or on Booking.com before hand ) booked this in high summer & expected prices to be up. Paid £140 for one night in a double (room 7) . Not worth it at all . …

Not the best and not the worst experience. Something between AirBnB, guest house and motel. It was just one night of stay.Room feels a bit old and needs some renovation. Some of the lights were not working. The self check in process and self check-out seem to work. No elevator.Host contacted me over WhatsApp as I had no network coverage, just data. This is a big plus.Has no parking and you can get a parking for extra charge. We just found a spot in the street and left before business hours.Biggest pro for the place - is location.Would I stay here again - maybe, if no other options available.

No breakfast, noisy, charged extra for parking on arrival. The view from our room? A rotting shed with a broken down door and a pile of rusting tools outside.||Seems like they are riding on the reputation of the previous owners. Currently not worth the money.

There is nothing elegant about this place ! One word “filthy” . We stayed for one night at the cost of £152 for a double room . Rang number on door to gain entry to the building . …

We had a lovely stay at the Lamp Post Villa. It's in a good location and our host was nice and friendly. Our bijou attic room was cute. But I was disappointed by the breakfast. …
