I've stayed here several times and always enjoyed my visit. ThIs time, not so much. The room I was given was "Japanese" style, and has a platform that makes 40% of the floor space unusable. Really awful. Uncomfortable. Ridiculous. Avoid the Japanese style rooms. Overall, It's a nice hotel with very nice amenities and a very nice staff. Breakfast was pretty good but used to be better.

Very mixed feelings about Areca lodge this time. I have stayed there a few times before and really enjoyed it. This time there was construction happening on the hotel right outside my room which wasn't pleasant. I also had no hot water in the shower, when i asked to be moved i was told i cant as it is all booked up which i knew was not the case as i searched it online and it had availability. The service at the pool also was quite slow. Disappointing this time overall and I will be hesitant to go back now.

The location is in the center of Soi Bukkao. Convenience is good. Condoms are sold in the room, and there's a trash can for trash, making it feel like a hotel where you're not allowed to leave. The worst part is that it depends on the room, but WiFi is difficult to connect and even 4G is not available. If this costs more than 7,000 yen, I won't do it again.

This hotel has a good location and is reasonably priced, so many Japanese people stay there. There are 2 pools where you can relax!There's a 7-Eleven and a popular steak restaurant nearby, so it's convenient (^ ^)

Walking distance to the beach and Central Pattaya. Staffs were nice and helpful. Seemed to be full but not noisy and busy at all. Overall I enjoyed staying here except the bed was quite hard.

Location of the hotel is at a very good place. Bus station is just 5km away. Hotel is at Central Pattaya. Walking street is just 1.2km away. No need of tuk tuk (taxi) for accessing main places.Food:Food is good. It would be good if they change the daily breakfast menu. You’ll get the same repeated items. Taste is okay and have to improve.Hotel:Ambience, cleanliness, pool and rooms are excellent.Overall very happy staying here. Most recommended.

I made a reservation through Agota. I was asked for a deposit of 1,000B when I checked in, so when I asked why, I was told that it was for the minibar service and would be refunded when I checked out. I didn't have any on hand, so I hurried to a nearby money exchange shop.It took a while to check in because cleaning seemed to be delayed, but the front desk staff was friendly and accommodating.The room was clean and had a bathtub, so I couldn't help but take a photo of it. The pool in the courtyard was clean and comfortable, and I was able to fully enjoy the feeling of privacy.It's relatively close to the downtown area and the sea, and I was able to find my favorite fruit stall.The walk to the breakfast buffet was like a mini-exploratory trip, and I was surprised to find a second pool.Next time I go, I would like to stay for a long time.

I got in and went to very dark room in the evergreen aisle. It looked super dingy so immediately I checked the bed… and I found two bedbugs.. I immediately left and complained to reception. They moved me to the Areca aisle (after charging me the supplement) and the room was much better. I inspected the whole room and no bugs there… I tried the breakfast once and it was truly awful..

Have been coming to the Areca Lodge Hotel for years. It's a very clean hotel and the staff are very friendly and accommodating! The two pools are very nice. The Marble Restaurant has very delicious food and the best mojitos🤭. Always happy to come back every year!!!🤗
