Park Hyatt Marrakech has finally made its highly anticipated entrance.

Park Hyatt is excited to launch in Morocco amidst much anticipation.
The hotel officially opened its doors this week after a soft launch earlier this year. This debut has been over a decade in the making, as the 19-acre resort was initially announced in 2008 with a target opening of 2011, which has been delayed until now. However, great rewards await patient members of the World of Hyatt.

"We are thrilled to unveil Morocco's first Park Hyatt hotel in Marrakech, a vital market in our regional expansion plan. The property has been a long-awaited addition to our portfolio as Morocco experiences a revival of interest as a premier cultural destination for discerning travelers," said Javier Águila, Hyatt's group president for Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, in a statement.
"With a rich array of experiences in arts, culture, and gastronomy, coupled with the area's historic wonders, Park Hyatt Marrakech offers guests a remarkable chance to explore the allure of the Red City from this contemporary haven of timeless luxury," Águila stated.

Situated at the foothills of the Atlas Mountains, Park Hyatt Marrakech is located roughly 5.5 miles from the historic Medina and marks the first resort opening in the Al Maaden Golf resort.
The resort, designed by Imaad Rahmouni, embraces a modern interpretation of Arab-Berber heritage in its architecture and design, while also respecting the stunning natural surroundings—featuring large windows that invite breathtaking views of the Atlas Mountains and Mount Toubkal.

The hotel boasts 130 guest rooms and suites designed with a residential feel, showcasing traditionally woven Berber carpets alongside contemporary artworks. In total, over 700 unique pieces of art created by artists from Senegal, Morocco, Benin, Spain, France, Italy, and Japan have been specially commissioned for Park Hyatt Marrakech.
The accommodations prioritize spaciousness, featuring chic designs with outdoor terraces and soaking tubs standard in the guest rooms.
Opt for a suite to enjoy additional perks such as walk-in closets, expanded entertaining areas, and, in larger suites, a private hammam. One impressive three-bedroom duplex suite even includes a fitness room, a hairdressing station, and a private kitchen.

Dining experiences include Tfaya, an Arab-inspired brasserie led by Moroccan chef Issam Rhachi. The resort's all-day dining venue is Le Pavillion, while The Living Room offers classic bar bites and cocktails, a staple of the Park Hyatt brand.
The standout feature is the impressive Spa Park Hyatt Marrakech, spanning over 23,000 square feet and offering products from renowned brands like Sodashi and Nectarome. Guests will also enjoy access to a hair salon, a fitness center, an outdoor pool, and a heated indoor pool.

Park Hyatt Marrakech marks a strategic expansion of the Park Hyatt brand in Africa, complementing existing locations like Park Hyatt Zanzibar, with Park Hyatt Johannesburg set to open next year.
"We are eager to welcome our discerning guests to Marrakech," said Pascal Leprou, general manager of Park Hyatt Marrakech. "Staying true to our brand's commitment, we have crafted a refined sanctuary that offers unparalleled enrichment while honoring Moroccan traditions. The result is an intimate refuge surrounded by exceptional and magical settings for the curious and adventurous traveler."
