Bungalows and Resort room prices are normally 850 baht per night, but if it's the tourist season, the room price will be at that price. 1,000, every room has air conditioning, a peaceful place amidst mountains, forests and the sea. In the evening, play in the pool, watch the sunset, the atmosphere is calm and not crowded.

Halabala is a very quiet place on top of the mountain. About 10 minutes walk away you have the first restaurants and shops, and about 15 minutes away from the beach and also a 7 Eleven.The rooms are good considering the price and, if you get a sea view, you can enjoy wonderful sunsets.The bathroom smells musty but it is normal since there is a large window that lets the sun in but cannot be opened and condensation occurs.The pool area is very good and the atmosphere is very calm.The personnel is very friendly. Also, in the morning, they usually leave you a couple of small waters and toilet paper. If you wish, you can ask for your room to be cleaned.

Beautiful stay at Lanta Halabala. The view of the ocean and sunset is just stunning. Ammy and her Mum who run the resort are so friendly, helpful and sweet. Recommended to rent a scooter as the resort is up a small hill, back from the main road. The bedrooms are comfy and spacious. Great pool and sunbathing spot at the resort. Ammy and her Mum also have an excellent restaurant just down the road called Fatty Chubby which is also highly recommended. Thank you. ☀️☺️

We wanted to stay seven days and ended up staying for twelve. Located at the top of the mountain, no problem with a moped. 5 minutes to the beach and shops. Nice, clean rooms, the whole complex is lovingly designed. Helpful, benevolent, friendly and warm. Thank you!

Disappointed at first impression, because a good refresh of the bungalows would be a good thing, nevertheless clean. However, the kindness and goodwill of Emmy, her mother and her husband, the way they went out of their way, especially to find rental scooters (not absolutely necessary but widely recommended), ... We very quickly felt very good, quiet, beautiful view, small swimming pool to cool off, really cool beach nearby... if we come back to Lanta, it will be there preferably! THANKS

A lovely place to stay on the hill overlooking Khlong Nin and amazing sunset views. When we stayed in January 2023, the owner was just starting to reopen after covid. She started with making two rooms available, as she was also managing her amazing “Fatty Chubby” restaurant just down the hill on the main road. The view is amazing, the pool is nice for a morning or afternoon splash, and the owner and her mother were very responsive to our requests. If you have a scooter, it’s convenient to reach the property since it’s not on the main road. You can walk to nearby 7/11 and Lotus in ~15 minutes, but a scooter is more convenient. The location is great for exploring the southern beaches or going over to the old town. The property is very relaxing with lots of plants, flowers, and peaceful sounds at night and in the morning. Ammy is a wonderful host!

Not a bad location, up the hill, but you may want to use a scooter to get around. Very basic bungalows, with two rooms each. Rooms have a locked door between them, and you can hear everything from the adjoining room. Tiny balconies, some have sea views.We had a big issue with armies of ants invading our bed at night and all our baggage. Couldn't sleep after that and there was no one to help. The staff seemed sympathetic in the morning, but offered nothing to compensate for this.The plumbing in the bathroom seems suspect, as it appears the waste water from shower and sink drops right down beneath the floor.There is a small swimming pool.Overall: recommended only for hardcore travelers pinching pennies.

Small, lovingly run hotel with a view of the sea, which is approx. 400m away as the crow flies. The street with shops and restaurants is within walking distance. If you don't want to live directly by the sea, this quiet place is in good hands.

A truly perfect welcome, the manager is really friendly, she answered absolutely all our questions, Lanta halabala resort is a little corner of paradise, the rooms are clean and have a balcony with a view of the sea.The hotel also offers several excursions with prices already negotiated with the island's agencies and also offers to have scooters delivered to you on site.On the heights of the springs you will be entitled at any time to the visit of some monkeys which are fun to observe.Halabala hotel also has a restaurant where you have lunch and eat very well!To finish, a beautiful swimming pool with a terrace overlooking the sea and where you can enjoy watching the sunset ☀️I highly recommend this establishment and will definitely return.

Didn't live up to expectations. Houses are like a thermos. You return in the evening to a stuffy steam room. The fan is noisy and makes it difficult to sleep. My friends' air conditioning didn't work.

Very bad experience here.The staffs here attitude are bad and rude.many mosquitoes and ants inside.the room smells strong painting odds.Swimming pool is forever out of service.I ‘ve never had horrible experience before.If you want to waste your holiday time,please book this hotel.
