Magnificent installation, with enormous resources implemented, bloated staff, but.... no concierge. Besides, they don't even know what it is.Some staff only speak English, barely. There is a casino, but to play there you must arrive with Thai baht notes - preferably small denominations (100 thb) to play the minimum bet of 300 thb (!). If you don't have THB denominations, and you only have kyat or just your poor credit card, you can't play. And, there is no ATM on site, so to get cash, you have to return to the city center (by boat), to the ATM. The ATM in the city center will only give you kyats, the currency of Myanmar, so you don't need to come back and play.... the circle closes.Continuation: we go to the bar, to have an aperitif, before going to the restaurant. We learn that we cannot transfer the bill from the bar to the restaurant, and that we must pay separately in..... Thai baht! However, the hotel, like the island, is Burmese, on the territory of Myanmar. Apparently, the current legal tender in Myanmar is not accepted here. This is shocking and illegal. We don't have Thai baht, only kyat, we want to pay by card: yes, it's possible with a surcharge of 500 thb! For an aperitif that costs 156 thb... to pay in kyat, you have to change the cash (kyat) for thb at a prohibitive rate, +10% compared to the daily rate.! Again - same thing at the restaurant (which is only a "self"), kyat refuses, second surcharge of 500 thb... That's good, we only dined at the water, in fact no Drinks menu was not presented to us despite the presence of 4 foremen (at least) who are only there to "monitor", obviously... Coffee, neither. Nothing. On the other hand, the cuisine was OK, visibly Thai.It is therefore a hotel for Thai people who come to gamble their THB fortunes in small used denominations for reasons that one can easily guess. If you are not one, if you are just a "normal" tourist, this is not for you.Falling into this trap inadvertently, I obviously advise against going there. It's a scam, and that's saying something...

I was there for only 2 hours in the restaurant and a little in the casino. I liked everything. The atmosphere is very good and so is the service staff.
