P&T Hostel and Guesthouse

SCAM at P&T Restaurant !!!We visited this restaurant the whole family. Restaurant got menu with main thai dishes for 60 THB including e.g. Pad Thai. We ordered with shrimps. At the bill the cost were 150 THB per dish. I was told that these were special Pad Thai with prawns. Just to make it clear there were 3 normal shrimps in Pad Thai.This is SCAM, you should be aware of.

Very welcoming and warm people! We didn’t stayed in the hostel, we just came here to rent scooters in the first place. With 200 THB per day it was the cheapest offer in this area. From this day on we came every morning for food and breakfast. They have a happy hour, which is basically all day long from 8 am to 10 pm 😃 60 THB for a lot of typical and very tasty Thai dishes. If you think to go to Koh Panghan by ferry, I also recommend to buy your ticket here. 200 THB per person and the pier is just across the street. 5 stars!!! 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I recently spent a few nights at this wonderful hostel on Ko Samui and wanted to share my experience.First of all, I loved the quick check-in process - it was just what I needed after a long journey. The beds were surprisingly comfortable, which was a relief after a busy day on the island. The luxurious and convenient balcony with a sea view was a real highlight; spending time there was a true pleasure.My time on the island was fantastic. I arrived late, but the late check-out allowed me to take my time in the morning. The rooms were cleaned from 12 to 1 PM, which was convenient and didn't interfere with my schedule.In terms of amenities, I especially appreciated the large balcony - a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the stunning view. The washing machine was incredibly useful, especially for longer stays. The Wi-Fi, though weak, worked and kept me connected. Another nice touch was the power outlet by the bed, which was very convenient.Overall, it was an excellent experience, and I would happily recommend this hostel to other solo travelers looking for a comfortable and convenient place to stay on Ko Samui.

I rented a bike from them. Staff were all friendly, gave me discount for 3 days. Bike worked perfect. They clearly state that the renter is not responsible for engine failure which is good! Lots of other bike rentals near are not the same and are more expensive too. I recommend renting motorbike from here thank you 🙏

DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOSTEL - IT'S A SCAM!! The positive reviews here are fake and were probably made or purchased by the hostel staff themselves, believe me.This hostel is DANGEROUS!!!!!!I've been traveling non-stop for 3 years, I've been to more than 40 countries, I've probably stayed in thousands of hostels around the world, this was the most disgusting hostel I've ever seen. NEVER IN MY LIFE have I been so mistreated or disrespected as in this place.I booked the most expensive room (private) so I could have a good night's sleep since the next day I had an early flight, the advertisement said "room with sea view". When I arrived at the place I saw that the room was completely different from the one advertised and I kindly asked to change rooms. The woman at the reception for absolutely no reason started shouting for no reason at all and saying that I couldn't do it. As I didn't want any confusion, I didn't answer anything and just accepted and went to the room. Well, I tried to sleep but it was impossible because there was an electronic party with a lot of noise, not even with my noise canceling headphones I could sleep. I then went to reception and kindly asked if I could change to any room (even if it was shared) where I could sleep. The staff gave me some room options to sleep in, until the same woman from reception appeared and started SCREAMING once again and saying that there was no other room available.I knew that there were other rooms available because the other employees had already shown me the rooms, so I told her she was lying. At that moment she came out from behind the counter, told me to sleep on the street and THREATENED TO HIT ME!! She only stopped threatening me when I started recording.When I thought the situation couldn't get any worse, the hostel owner himself appeared and instead of apologizing for the situation or trying to control the situation, he just laughed and said that the woman was probably menstruating (yes!! he managed to be unprofessional and sexist in the same sentence.). He then offered me another room, but said he wouldn't give me the difference in money (this other room was half the price of the room I had booked.)In other words, NOT THE OWNER OF THE PLACE cares about the well-being of his guests. It's normal for people in hostels to be helpful and want to help, in this case people treated me badly for free. At no point did I scream, or be rude, I just wanted to sleep. But I couldn't sleep because it was already late at night and I spent the night afraid that the woman at reception or the owner himself could do me any harm.If you came here to read the reviews of this place because you are considering staying here, please book elsewhere. Koh Samui has several other options for better and even cheaper places, where people respect each other and where you can feel welcome.
